I really enjoyed this little chat because so often I don't give myself credit for the levels of creativity I have. I consider myself a creative person but I think the days of Pinterest and serious style have thrown me off my game.

I'm by no means a crafty or creative person when it comes to art. I was so proud when I learned how to do some elementary school level stuff in college- it's just not my thing. But I'm creative in MANY other ways! And so are you!

Megen is a big time inspiration to me. Talk about following your dreams and not letting "life" get in the way of the life that truly makes you happy. Not only has she become a mother to five amazing children, she is now a student in the middle of a 4 year program at a Naturopathic Medical school in San Diego.

Dina is the director of an amazing program called Educate and Empower Kids. Together with her organization they have written three books that will help you talk to your kids about some of life's most challenging topics. I loved talking with her about screen time and how my personal usage is impacting my kids and their perceptions of what is acceptable. My mind was blown in the best way possible when she opened up about sex talk with our kids and being the first person they get their information from.

I know the title seems really intimidating- and we all know that no parent feels like a major success all of the time. But we all find some pretty amazing results when we think ahead and plan for a good outcome!

Emilee has some serious planning skills and always accounts for the small details. Due in part to her educational background and the years she spent nannying, she approached parenting with a plan and was prepared with ways she would use that plan in the raising of her own kids.

I may or may not be a little bit enthused today talking to you about life, secrets of life and the importance of working your tooshie off to achieve your goals!

I often look around me and wonder if people know what I am just learning or if they need me to teach them! I am thirty years old and until the past few months had no idea what I was doing. I was- as Napoleon Hill puts it- a drifter. I thought I was working hard. But I wasn't working nearly as hard as I work now.

Catherine is one of those women who you'd never guess has a "past" or has experienced one of the most heartbreaking trials a woman can face. Her constant smile and kindness towards others as well as the amazingly happy family she has are the result of choosing joy, and navigating her way through one of her biggest challenges.

Jen was so fascinating to talk to, I loved delving deeper into homeschooling, and getting a small insight into her life as a military spouse. I'm always in awe of these mothers who have the flexibility to live a very nomadic life, never knowing what the future might hold. It's so outside of my realm of comfort that it's just so fun to hear it from the perspective of someone who has lived it.

Miranda is my sweet and wonderful sister in law who I convinced to share her story on the podcast. Her journey to motherhood was a long, painful and bittersweet one full of many twists and turns. Some I was there for, some I was not. And I saw from a distance the darkness that consumed her for many years.

And I saw her rise out of the ashes. I see her now, and admire her as one of the most marvelous moms I know!

It's amazing we condensed so much goodness into one short conversation. It's like the most incredible can of soup ever. Weird analogy I know, but this lady just has it all. Brains, talent, spirit and the most intoxicating energy that had me giggling the rest of the morning!
