Mary Knight – Am I Crazy?

Ed is joined by Mary Knight who talks about her 2017 film, ‘Am I Crazy?’, the harrowing story behind it and the updates with new information to the project.

When Mary Knight confided in someone close about her experiences of being abused as a child, she was met with a less than supportive response; this disbelief in her story affected her badly, but she started to consider whether her own recollections were true.

Slowly, and painfully she went through the process of recovering her memories, but it also forged a desire to help other survivors who faced the same reaction. Were her memories accurate or was she suffering from ‘False Memory Syndrome’?

‘Am I Crazy’ is a documentary of a true life journey and features interviews with Dr. Loftus, Dr. van der Kolk, Former Miss America Van Derbur about childhood trauma.
