Summary: While we might be part of the universal, Catholic Church, we are also called to be part of the mission of our local parish. That work may involve simply showing up faithfully to mass (because our presence can bless others), or becoming involved in a prayer ministry, teaching others. The parish becomes our visible connection to the community as we grown and build others up in Christ!

Summary: Sin divides and estranges us from one another and from God. When the Bible talks about "Jesus taking away the sins of the world", he is providing a way to restore our relationship to God.
