Si creyeron que esta semana no habría podcast pues estaban completamente equivocados. Tuvimos algunas fallas técnicas, sí, como siempre...¡pero aquí estamos de nuevo para continuar contándoles todo lo acontecido detrás de nuestras participaciones en el concurso de moda que sacudió a todo nuestro Ecosistema! En este cuarto episodio dejamos atrás las flores, las hadas y todo lo relacionado a la Naturaleza para adentrarnos en una temática que estaba estrechamente relacionada al mundo de la moda y el fashion.

Tal y como mencionamos en el vídeo, en este primer reto del segundo mes del concurso, tanto Made como yo planificamos al detalle nuestras participaciones. Todo en nuestras fotografías tuvo un motivo y una razón de ser, nada fue improvisado salvo: 1) ir a comprar el Gatorade porque Made se sentía un poco mal y 2) tener que regresarme en mototaxi a mi casa ese día (ja, ja, ja)...pero bueno, son cosas que pasan.

Espero que disfruten de esta nueva ronda de chismecitos tanto como nosotras disfrutamos recordar estas anécdotas.

Recorrer la ciudad de Caracas, definitivamente, es mi pasión pues esto me ha permitido descubrir lugares únicos y especiales que no tenía ni la más remota idea de que existían dentro de mi ciudad. Hace un par de meses atrás descubrí un lugar increíble, toda una joya escondida dentro del caos citadino. Se trata nada más y nada menos que de una _**Cafetería Boutique**_ que, más allá de una cafetería, es como un museo de arte y moda.

Este quinto capítulo de mi serie _**Una Café con Mary**_ quise compartirlo desde Espavlog y no desde la comunidad de Hive Food como siempre suelo hacerlo ya que la experiencia en este lugar no se centra especialmente en los postres o en los diferentes tipos de café que poseen en su menú, pues la motivación real de ir a tomarte un café ahí es simplemente disfrutar de un espacio diferente con una propuesta única y que se escapa de lo convencional. La propuesta de este lugar no sólo se centra en la decoración extravagante y el buen café, pues todo el mobiliario que usteden pueden observar en el vídeo e incluso los vestidos que se encuentran descansando en los percheros, ¡los alquilan! Incluso el espacio de la cafatería también lo ofrecen para realizar pequeños eventos, como un _desfile de modas_ que fue llevado a cabo hace unos meses por una joven diseñadora que posee su propio emprendimiento de moda.

La primera vez que visité este lugar estuve largo rato conversando con uno de los encargados quien es un actor bastante reconocido en la movida teatral Venezolana: José Gregorio Becerra. Fue una conversa bastante agradable pues me comentó acerca de cómo había surgido la idea de regarle a la ciudad una cafetería de este estilo, me contó también diversas anécdotas sobre su carrera teatral y, por supuesto, hablamos un poco sobre la situación socioeconómica del país. Él me comentaba que este lugar no es demasiado concurrido, de hecho es más conocido sobretodo por personas reconocidas en el nicho de la televisión y teatro caraqueño...esto me hizo ruido porque un lugar tan genial y diferente debería de tener una mayor difusión en la ciudad, ¡así que aquí estoy yo! compartiendo mi experiencia en este lugar y deseando porque se haga un espacio mucho más concurrido porque, de verdad, vale mucho la pena adentrarte en cada uno de los rincones de _**El Encuentro**_.

>This fifth chapter of my series _**A Coffee with Mary**_ I wanted to share it from Espavlog and not from the Hive Food community as I always do because the experience in this place is not especially focused on the desserts or the different types of coffee they have on their menu, because the real motivation to go for a coffee there is simply to enjoy a different space with a unique proposal that escapes from the conventional. The proposal of this place is not only focused on the extravagant decoration and good coffee, because all the furniture that you can see in the video and even the dresses that are resting on the racks, they rent them! Even the café space is also available for small events, such as a fashion show that was held a few months ago by a young designer who has her own fashion business.

>The first time I visited this place I spent a long time talking with one of the managers who is a very well known actor in the Venezuelan theater scene: José Gregorio Becerra. It was quite a pleasant conversation as he told me about how he had come up with the idea of giving the city a cafeteria of this style, he also told me several anecdotes about his theatrical career and, of course, we talked a little about the socioeconomic situation of the country. He told me that this place is not too crowded, in fact it is better known mainly by people recognized in the niche of television and theater in Caracas ... this made me noise because such a great and different place should have a greater diffusion in the city, so here I am! sharing my experience in this place and wishing that it becomes a much more crowded space because, really, it is well worth going into each of the corners of _**El Encuentro**_.

Un nuevo capítulo del podcast más acontecido de todos está aquí. En esta oportunidad, @madefrance y yo les contamos nuestras anécdotas detrás de la primera pasarela que realizamos para el _Hive's Top Model_. Algo positivo es que esta vez no nos echaron de un parque y tampoco nos derretimos gracias al calor...bueno, nosotras no, pero unas cuantas florecitas si.

Este episodio se lleva el título del _Episodio Menos Acontecido_, pero no se preocupen porque los próximos tres episodio vienen cargados de muchas anécdotas que, en su momento, nos hicieron llorar pero que sin duda a ustedes les hará reír.

Quise aprovechar este #ThreeShortFriday para compartir un breve resumen del último evento en el que Hive Caracas tuvo la oportunidad de dar a conocer nuestro ecosistema blockchain, despertando el interés de jóvenes talentosos y animándolos a unirse a una nueva manera de vivir el Internet. Además, también tuvimos la oportunidad de apoyar este evento al entregarle a los jóvenes bailarines sus merecidos certificados de participación.

Ahora, contándoles un poco acerca de este evento, se trató sobre una presentación de _Danza Contemporánea_ inspirada en los versos de _**Santa Teresita de Jesús**_ quién fue considerada como la _Gran Maestra de la Espiritualidad de la Iglesia_. El acto inició con una coreografía de flamenco que, particularmente, me encantó pues me hizo recordar aquellos tiempos en donde formé parte de una academia de baile y nuestro fuerte era precisamente ese género, el flamenco. El resto de las presentaciones me produjeron un montón de emociones increíbles, ni siquiera puedo transmitirles con palabras el sentimiento que aquellos bailarines con cada uno de sus movimientos lograban transmitir. Y es que, precisamente, de eso se trata la danza: _transmitir emociones_.

>I wanted to take advantage of this #ThreeShortFriday to share a brief summary of the last event in which Hive Caracas had the opportunity to raise awareness of our blockchain ecosystem, awakening the interest of talented young people and encouraging them to join a new way of living the Internet. In addition, we also had the opportunity to support this event by giving the young dancers their well-deserved certificates of participation.

>Now, telling you a little about this event, it was a presentation of _Contemporary Dance_ inspired by the verses of _**Saint Therese of Jesus**_ who was considered the _Great Mistress of the Spirituality of the Church_. The event began with a flamenco choreography that I particularly loved because it reminded me of those times when I was part of a dance academy and our forte was precisely that genre, flamenco. The rest of the presentations gave me a lot of incredible emotions, I can not even transmit with words the feeling that those dancers with each of their movements managed to convey. And that is precisely what dance is all about: _transmitting emotions_.

Hoy Jueves 15 de Junio damos por finalizado el _**Hive's Top Model 2023**_, un concurso que, tanto para el jurado como las participantes, dejó tras su paso un sinfín de aprendizajes, momentos divertidos y no tan divertidos y, por supuesto, muchas anecdótadas para contar. Es debido a esto que hace un par de días atrás @madefrance y yo decidimos que ya era el momento justo para contar nuestras experiencias tras cámaras realizando cada uno de los retos que conformaron este concurso. Es por ello que decidimos crear un podcast corto de ocho capítulos en donde en cada uno de ellos hablaremos sobre nuestra experiencia y todo lo que nos ocurrió al realizar cada uno de los retos del concurso.

¿Por qué ocho episodios? Bueno, en primer lugar porque se trata de uno episodio por cada reto realizado y, en segundo lugar, porque tenemos tantas anécdotas que se nos hace completamente difícil englobar todo en un sólo vídeo. Creánme cuando les digo que no se aburrirán si no, por el contrario, se reirán un montón con cada episodio de este podcast.

Detrás de cada una de esas fotografías y vídeos maravillosos que compartimos para que cada una de nuestras ocho participaciones, Made y yo experimentamos momentos tanto divertidos como estresantes. Muchas veces las cosas no nos salieron como estaban planificadas desde el inicio y muchas veces estuvimos contrarreloj para lograr cumplir con el objetivo, pero lo que en su momento puede que nos haya causado un poco de estrés ahora simplemente lo vemos como _una situación graciosa_...no hay que negar que sí nos divertimos durante el proceso.

En el vídeo del día de hoy les compartiremos la historia de nuestro detrás de cámaras del primer reto fotográfico realizado correspondiente a la temática Naturaleza y Vida en donde Made decidió imitar a una _**Pocahontas citadina**_ y yo simplemente quise ser una _**hada del bosque**_, ¿se recuerdan? ¡espero que sí! No se pierdan el final del vídeo porque ahí se encuentra uno de los fragmentos más divertidos de nuestra experiencia.

>Today, Thursday June 15, we are ending the _**Hive's Top Model 2023**_, a contest that, both for the jury and the participants, left behind a lot of learning, funny and not so funny moments and, of course, many anecdotes to tell. Bienvenidos a un nuevo episodio de _**Un Café con Mary**_, un espacio en donde te invito a recorrer las cafeterías más geniales de mi ciudad Caracas. En esta oportunidad visitamos [_**Artesano Cafetería**_](https://www.instagram.com/artesanocafeteriaccs/?hl=es), una opción en la ciudad bastante concurrida y, sin dudas, _**un lugar para escapar de la ciudad, dentro de la ciudad**_ tal y como dicen ellos mismos.


Artesano se encuentra ubicado en _La Esquina La Torre del Boulevard Panteón_, en el pleno corazón de la ciudad caraqueña y me atrevo a decir que es uno de esos espacios que permiten alejarte del caos citadino al menos por unos cuantos minutos. Como a mí me encanta indagar un poco acerca de los lugares que visito, les cuento que este lugar tuvo sus inicios en el 2011 en el sector La Candelaria de la ciudad de Caracas como resultado de algunas experiencias de sus dueños oriundos del Estado Mérida, este pequeño local en La Candelaria pasó a ser como un centro de producción para ellos cuando decidieron abrir este otro pequeño espacio en La Esquina La Torre.

Una de sus espacialidades es el café, como ya podrán haber notado, no sólo disponen en el menú de los tradicionales con leche, mocaccino o latte vainilla, sino también disponen de otras opciones muy originales como el _Café Marietta_ que entre sus ingredientes posee brandy y canela o el _Café Fabiana_ que contiene jarabe de ron. El mayor concepto de este lugar es que son productores de muchos de sus productos. Desde el pan, las salsas y la charcutería son artesanales producidas por ellos mismos, lo cual les da un toque de frescura a todas esas opciones del menú. Este no es un concepto muy popular en Caracas, aunque ciertamente en los últimos años ha tomado mayor auge, lo cual me emociona enormemente.

Entre cafés, cachitos de jamón y buena vibra el pasado Lunes, desde Hive Caracas, realizamos un pequeño encuentro en las instalaciones del maravilloso _**Bitcoin Café**_. Nunca había visitado este local, a pesar de que ya conocía un poco sobre él desde la Caracas Blockchain Week, y lo cierto es que es un café temático maravilloso que no sólo brinda una excelente atención, sino que también tiene como objetivo lograr una difusión del mundo crypto en nuestra ciudad. Quedé tan encantada con este lugar que me prometí regresar a él pronto para realizar un _reseña_ bastante completa.

Pero ok, ¿cuál era el objetivo de este encuentro del pasado Lunes? Pues básicamente era conversar un poco sobre la Blockchaincon Latam 2023 en donde nuestros muy queridos Arlette y Fermionico irán en representación de la Blockchain Hive. Conversamos largo rato sobre las expectativas de este evento tan grande y también sobre otros temas relacionados a nuestro ecosistema. Tuvimos una corta conversa vía Twitter Space con dos Hivers representantes en Perú y, para cerrar nuestro encuentro, tuvimos un muy breve Momento Foodie.

No sé ustedes, pero yo me siento muy emocionada por el hecho de que estos dos grandes Hive Builders Venezolanos asistan a un evento tan importante en representación de Hive. Esto es algo que me llena de orgullo y no me resta más nada que enviarles mis mayores vibras positivas. El pasado Lunes 22 de Mayo todo el mundo crypto celebró el muy reconocido _**Bitcoin Pizza Day**_ y, por supuesto, nosotros desde _**Hive Caracas**_ no dejamos pasar este día especial por debajado de la mesa. Fueron @nahupuku y @orimusic por medio de su comunidad _**PukuMundo**_ quienes nos hicieron cordialmente la invitación a algunos miembros de Hive Caracas para participar en un evento muy genial para conmemorar este día tan importante.

Este pequeño evento se llevó a cabo en el Restaurant Milo's ubicado en Caracas. Aquí tuvimos la oportunidad de reunirnos durante un par de horas con miembros de otras comunidades crypto como Dash, CryptoBuyer, Dosis Web3, entre otras. Participamos en juegos, escuchamos a algunos miembros de estas comunidades hablar sobre sus proyectos, compartimos opiniones y, por supuesto, ¡comimos pizza!

El evento fue algo corto, pero bastante nutritivo y divertido...sin duda fue un rato bastante ameno. Este vídeo es un corto resumen de todo lo que vivimos ese día, espero que lo disfruten.

Para finalizar, debo de agradecerles nuevamente a Nahu y Ori por esta invitación. Siempre será todo un gran placer compartir con Hivers tan geniales.

It was @nahupuku and @orimusic through their community _**PukuMundo**_ who cordially made us the invitation to some members of Hive Caracas to participate in a very cool event to commemorate this very important day.

>This small event took place at Milo's Restaurant located in Caracas. Here we had the opportunity to meet for a couple of hours with members of other crypto communities such as Dash, CryptoBuyer, Dosis Web3, among others. We played games, listened to some members of these communities talk about their projects, shared opinions and, of course, ate pizza!

>The event was a bit short, but quite nutritious and fun... it was certainly a very enjoyable time. This video is a short summary of everything we experienced that day, I hope you enjoy it.
