Nicole Van Groningen, MD, is a doctor of internal medicine and assistant professor of medicine at Cedars-Sinai. “There are many benefits of showing gratitude. Gratitude lowers symptoms of depression, reduces stress, improves relationships, and increases willpower and resilience. It also benefits your physical health as well, improving cardiovascular health, reducing inflammation, improving sleep, reduces chronic pain, and boosts your immune system.” But GRATITUDE is a CHOICE since being Self-Centered comes more naturally to us! How do we develop this thing called gratitude?
We were honored to have Jason Frisch with us. Here is the message "Ordinary Significance". We all know the story about Saul/Paul but one of the wonderful parts of his story is that we have "ordinary guys" like Ananias that helped to start Paul off on teaching about Jesus?
When we’re pushed tour limit… and beyond… we have a choice to make. Will we choose the path of least resistance, compromising our faith, or will we find the courage to stand?
It's one thing to stand. But how do we handle it when fear comes into play?
As a Believer in God & Follower of Jesus, Are you Prepared to Keep Standing in the Storms of Life?
We all know the impact that Guilt can have on our life. GUILT IMPACTS EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIFE: Emotions, Thoughts, Behavior & Physically. By His Grace, God Provides 3 Principles of Sacrifice as a path to Forgiveness. It’s how we RESPOND to the REALIZATION we’ve MESSED UP.
Love is the foundation for the 3 principles of sacrifice. What do a British Prime Minister, Gandhi, a New England Minister, and Jimi Hendrix have in common? They all get credit for: “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace.” God wants us to remember when it comes to Faith, Hope & Love- The greatest of these is Love.
How do you react when you feel like you’re being taken for granted? What effect does it eventually have on the relationship? More importantly, can anything be done to RESTORE the RELATIONSHIP?
We will only become self-controlled, to the extent that we allow God to control. Self-Control proclaims that Jesus is our Lord.
