In this episode we finally make it to Daytower and into Carja territory. Before that, however, we finish up some remaining business in the The Sacred Land. We clean up two remaining bandit camps, as well as take on the Valleymeet Hunting trials before clearing the corruption on the way to Daytower and saving the guards from a Corruptor.

With our first main quest complete, we take some time to clean up the side quests and errands in The Sacred Land before heading to Daytower. We'll help track down some Dreamwillow to help ailing Braves, help a hunter save his friends, and help some Carja travelers. We'll also see how the machines are made as we enter our first Cauldron.

In this episode we are on the trail to track down War-chief Sona at the request of Varl. When we do find her, she asks for Aloy's help taking down some of the killers at a camp she found. That's not all of them though, and with the help of the Focus, Aloy is able to discover the location of the rest of the killers. The Nora take the fight to them to get revenge for the fallen.

We also meet Nil, an "honest" killer, as he likes to call himself. He introduces us to Bandit Camps, a great way to scratch that murder itch.

The events of The Proving were devastating, but it's not over. In this episode Aloy will encounter a new machine that can take control of other machines: The Corruptor. Thankfully Aloy isn't shy around old world technology, and gains the ability to control machines herself. With the blessing of the High Matriarchs Aloy is now a Seeker, and can leave The Sacred Land to head to Meridian and track down Olin. In this episode we will say goodbye to the Embrace for now, and head into the larger world.

The day Aloy has trained for most of her life has arrived. In this episode Aloy runs The Proving. Even though it's her right to do so, not everyone is playing fair. On top of that, bigoted Nora aren't the only thing Aloy has to worry about.

In this episode we finally enter Mother's Heart. Aloy has trained for The Proving most of her life, and it's almost here! After living in the wilds her entire life, Aloy gets to see how the other Nora live. She meets High Matriarch Teersa, see Teb again after a long time, and sees outlanders for the first time.

The Carja and Oseram are here from the Carja Sundom to observe The Proving, but tensions are high due to the Carja's conducting The Red Raids. This is all new to Aloy, so we learn a lot about the Nora, Carja, Oseram, and the political state of Horizon Zero Dawn.

In this episode we take control of grown up Aloy. Rost has one final lesson to teach her, but before that we'll need to gather supplies. That gives us a change to explore Mother's Embrace and help members of the Nora tribe. After that we'll step outside of the embrace for the first time, and Aloy will come face to face with a new machines she's never seen.
