This week the Spicy Bois talk about the differences between controllers and keyboard-and-mouse, and a major pro suggests a new way to use your controller that can take you to new heights! They discuss a great idea for a lifeline passive, and mention the new Xbox discord integration.

Nick and Harv are joined by a returning Rei and Eric to talk about what’s been going on in World of Warcraft and WoW Classic. They start with Rei talking about hitting 2K rating for mythic+ and getting the mount. She and Eric also talk about raiding with a pug group through Normal Sepulcher of the First Ones and how the raid fell apart because of a lack of coordination. Nick talks about how he has been raiding Heroic and Normal and compares the two difficulties. He mentions that he got his Slime Kitty so he is excited.

Rei and Eric talk about watching the Xy’mox’s Charity Cache event which had Echo and Limit racing through Sepulcher of the First Ones for charity. They appreciated how various players were cursed with restrictions like having to play in first person mode or playing with a reduced ilvl. They also talked about how one boss had all the Fated affixes applied at once and how that had to be played around.

They also talked about rolling Death Knights in WoW Classic so they could get the Frostbrood Proto-Drake mount in retail. They talked about some of the challenges of going back to classic from retail and also how there were lots of people in the starting area because of the mount.

Finally, Harv talks about how the GTA Streamer Community is getting hyped for Wrath Classic. He talks about how several of the streamers are now streaming Wrath Classic and how they are encouraging each other to get into WoW.

Nick and Harv are back without Rei and Eric as they have the episode off. Instead, the show is joined by streamer Crisp and fellow Mash Those Buttons podcaster Kurabara to talk about their further experiences in the Fated Raids. They talk about how it feels to be cycling through the raids instead of progressing through them sequentially. They discuss revisiting some of the harder bosses and how it feels to be facing them again on fresh clear attempts.

Crisp talks about his guild’s struggles to get Mythic Jailer down in what he calls the Race to World Last.

Kura talks about his luck with drops and his improvement at dying less in raid. He mentions his satisfaction at killing Sire Denathrius. He talks about working on his healing skills on his druid and how he’s amazed at how much work goes into keeping the raid team alive.

They talk about WoW Classic and the upcoming launch of Wrath of the Lich King with the impending zombie invasion. Nick and Harv are excited for this.

Nick also talks about his challenges making a macro out of the Hearthstone toys he is collecting. He wishes Blizzard would build an interface to manage these like they did for mounts.

In the news, they talk about how reputations are being removed in Dragonflight in place of the Renown system, which leads to Nick speculating if they could use the system, with its Battlepass like rewards system, as a way to shift from a subscription to Battlepass model.

This episode, the boys take a step back and have some discussion about tidbits of news, ALGS happenings, and the general state of the game. We go over a micro patch with some important hotfixes, some apparent references to another well-known IP, new ALGS teams put under contract with Moist Esports, possible heirlooms, and a small discussion about weapon meta.

It's our one hundredth episode! Only eleven left to be eleventy-one! We're all hyped up about patch 6.2, with lots to talk about in this big ol' content patch. There's island sanctuaries, unreal foibles, broken computers (Pan's), and some grumbling about saltiness in the party finder. Almost no story spoilers contained (unless you care about the name of the new trial). We went extra long for our first three digit episode, so kick back with us on your own island sanctuary, and enjoy!

As we move deeper in to Tenakth territory we come across Arrowhand. This Tenakth settlement provides machine hearts to Scalding Spear in exchange for water, but their latest harvest ended poorly for them. Of course the Savior of Meridian is here to help.

Nick and Katie are back to once again talk about Warcraft story and lore. This week they begin with Katie talking about her time in Korthia hunting for mounts. Nick talks about his love of stitchhounds, and then he laments for the old version of stampede. They talk about how hunters should get to show off more of their pets, since the number of available pet models is always increasing, and they talk about how hunters should be able to tame more pets. Katie mentions she had a bugged rare spawn in Korthia that was affecting her ability to get another mount.

Nick talks about how he feels like each zone has too much content in it, and unless you are steadfast in your attempts to complete all the content, it will take you more than a patch cycle to complete everything. Katie mentions that she wants to collect the Blood Elf paladin transmog from the Quel’thalas questline.

Nick mentions that Theotar may be shoutcasting for a Hearthstone event, and this leads to a discussion about which Shadowlands characters we can expect to see return in future expansions. They get into Dragonflight spoilers with their understanding of the return of a certain character, and they talk about how impactful that is with respect to the character’s overall arc. Then, they talk about the eventual return of Anduin, and Katie mentions she doesn’t want him to return like Turalyon. They wonder if Khadgar should have known more about Turalyon and Alleria’s disappearance from Draenor. This leads to a discussion of Khadgar’s romantic abilities. They then discuss Thrall’s fascination with his axe, and transition to talking about Ragnaros helping Thrall through a midlife crisis.

Nick talks about the charge of the covenants against the forces of the Maw in Zereth Mortis, and then they consider the finale of Shadowlands. They talk about the loss of many Shadowlands characters as we leave them behind, and they end by speculating on how Dragonflight could lead to further expansions.
