We start things off with an extensive look at Activision Blizzard lawsuit news that somehow flew under the radar of most esports journalists. A potential conflict of interest between the California Department for Employment and Housing and the Equal Employment Opportunity Comission could cause major damage to the case against the company. We discuss the potential issues this presents to those suing Acti-Blizz and talk about the lack of public response to this major development.

Afterwards, we recap the last week of off-season action as more teams liquidate players. We talk about recent players releases as well as major retirements from some Overwatch's greatest talents.

We wrap up with a look at a possible cut to the Overwatch League's "soft salary cap" and discuss what this could mean for player benefits going forward.

StaticGorilla and Crashtag are back in a new episode of Double Tap. In the Fighter's Corner, KOF releases the trailer for Heidern and we do a deep dive into the Guilty Gear Strive patch that drastically changes the game. Over night, Smash Ultimate dropped their latest Patch which brought some character changes, including Sora, and Static brings his impressions. In the Randoms of the FGC, a tournament went under the radar, Red Bull Gladiators, which was featured in a special venue with theming including and a PSA for national gaming day in Mexico. In the Focus Attack, we cover what it would take to start an FGC scene in your neighborhood and community. Finally, we check out an impressive Bison mod in UMVC3.

Nick, Rei, and Harv are back this week to talk about what's been going on in the World of Warcraft. First, they mention that Eric is taking a break from the game and will be taking a break from the the podcast too. Then Rei talks about what she's been doing outside the World of Warcraft that has been keeping her from playing the game. Harv meanwhile has been playing Classic and seeing how many people are playing that instead of playing on retail WoW. Rei talks about a video she watched that talked about the changes that have been coming to the game and how everyone is offended by something so it is hard to remove everything that is offensive to everyone.

This leads Nick to talking about his idea for how Blizzard can turn things around: Hard Knocks: Blizzard. Blizzard should record a behind the scenes documentary that shows the reasons why certain changes are made but also showing the environment so we players can rate how the work environment is. Nick talks about how he'd like a behind the scenes documentary anyway and says that Blizzard needs to think about ways to win back the playerbase that no longer trusts them.

In the news, Season of Mastery has been announced for WoW Classic. This leads to a discussion of Diablo II Resurrected and our memories of Diablo II. Also, Blizzard has seen some executives come and go and is also under investigation from the SEC. Blizzard settled with the EEOC but that settlement is now under investigation as well. Lastly, they discuss a recent Coke commercial that was similar to the Battle for Azeroth cinematic.

FInally, they look back at episode #95 when Antorus was about to come out. They talk about how Stampede was changed and how they liked it the old way.

On this episode, we change up the format a little, and start with our week in Apex, followed by a heaping helping of Apex news, including the Monsters Within event, a possible boycott, and a really well-made Wattson buff idea created by the Reddit community! We then end things, this time, with a bit of strat talk, a community submission, and our question of the week!

Nick, Chip, and Kurabara are back to continue their journey through Mass Effect 2 as part of the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. This week they look at the mission to recruit Grunt, which oddly enough begins the the dossier for a Dr. Okeer. After recapping the mission, they talk about how unexpected it was that the mission would be to get Grunt, using Dr. Okeer as a red herring. They talk about how they didn't quite understand the doctor's goal with creating Grunt (was he cured of the genophage or just immune to it?) and joke about Wrex's old comment about Krogan scientists. They also talk about the Blue Suns being bad at their job. They discuss the Krogan lab failure that Shepard meets along the way, and consider how he would have fared on the Normandy. They also compare Grunt and Korlus to Gears of War and wonder if there was some inspiration from the other game.

Next, the talk about waking Grunt up on the ship against Cerberus and EDI's protestations. They talks about how Grunt, being so young, is still developing a personality. They discuss how much they use him in their groups. They talk about the point of EDI's warnings that waking a Krogan could be fatal, and how that plays into the decisions the player must make as Shepard, even though none of the outcomes result in Grunt killing Shepard. They compare Wrext to Grunt, and how Wrex's experience makes him a completely different squad mate than Grunt's naivette. They also compare Grunt to Kaiden, although they like Grunt more than Kaiden. They wonder about how Grunt innately knew how to make a shotgun.

We start things off by looking back at the past couple weeks of news surrounding the Activision Blizzard lawsuit. In response to ABK's recent move to settle for $18 million, the California department of Fair Employment and Housing has submitted an objection to prevent further damage and shredding of documents. We discuss the ramifications of the possible settlement, as well as the intentions of the objection, as ABK still attempts to wait out their frustrated workforce.

We move ahead to the past week of Overwatch League news. Many teams are releasing players and (occaisionally) even entire rosters into the free agent pool. We talk about the past wave of player moves, as well as some retirements from key players. With some of Overwatch's most hallowed names moving away from the game, we discuss the transition underway as the scene moves into a new era.

We wrap up with a roster-building activity as both hosts attempt to build their dream rosters out of the pool of available free agents. We mix and match potential players from free agency and Contenders as we build our ideal Season 5 squad.

In this new episode of Double Tap, Crashtag and Staticgorilla are back with some of the latest news in the FGC. In the Fighter's Corner, we check out the latest Developer Backyard for Guilty Gear Strive, regarding upcoming changes. Then, SFV releases breast cancer costumes for charity and Nickelodeon All Stars drops a patch fixing some of the characters issues. In the Randoms of the FGC, Crashtag goes to reddit to see Fighting Game Anniversaries, and UMVC3 Reflex V results are in and Winrich has a big brain moment. For today's Focus Attack, we look at the latest Twitter arguments about the possibility of online replacing offline sessions. Finally, we finish off with a Mod Highlight of Merkava in Project M.
