Chris invites guest cohost Westley back for this episode so that they can discuss their thoughts and review of the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. Having stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter back in February 2024, they share their experiences, their dining choices, and of course, beignets!
On this very special episode, Chris hands over the reins of the show to Matt, so that he can discuss his all-time favorite live show at Walt Disney World - Tarzan Rocks! Join Matt as he takes Chris and the audience on a journey into the darkest depths of the jungle (or, in this case, Animal Kingdom). Matt recounts, in full detail, how Tarzan Rocks was born and the experiences audiences in the late 90s and early 2000s got to have when seeing this show live.
Chris and (a very reluctant Matt) discuss the upcoming plan's for Universal Orlando's Epic Universe theme park, scheduled to open in 2025. We discuss the main hub, the four lands connected to the hub, dining options and hotels. We also ponder on whether this is finally Universal's time to shine, or if Disney will still be the victor.
In what can only be described as one of the most heated conversations we've had in a really long time, Chris and Matt review some of the recent news and rumors coming out of Walt Disney World. Topics include the recent proxy fight with the Board, The Disney-DeSantis legal battles, the upcoming ideas for DinoLand USA, and the proposed ideas for the Beyond Big Thunder project. Sit back, make yourself some popcorn, and listen to Chris and Matt as they spill the tea.
Chris and Matt discuss their perfect day at Hollywood Studios. Unsurprisingly, unlike their perfect days at the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, this episode does not need to be split into two episodes. Sit back and enjoy a trip into Hollywood Studios!
In this episode, Chris, Matt, Carson, Meg and Westley continue their spirited debate about which WDW attractions should move on to the final round. Plus, we pick one attraction as the ultimate winner. Take a listen, and see if your picks match up with what we vote on.
It's going to be a good one! Chris and Matt welcome a panelist of 3 wonderful guests to join them on this episode in order to tackle the challenge of voting on 60 rides, broken up between 8 brackets, with the goal of finding one ultimate winner of the best WDW attraction.
Due to timing issues, we were only able to vote on 6 brackets in this episode, and we will be discussing the final two brackets on the next episode, so please stay tuned!
Before we get down to the main event, Chris and Matt review the brackets and share details about how you can follow along. We're excited for this, and we hope you are too!
It's been a long time coming. Something we've always wanted to do here since the inception of the Mass Mouse Fans podcast. It's our first attempt at a Disney attractions March Madness Bracket! Sorry, make that 8 brackets! We're taking several WDW attractions and breaking them down into 8 brackets based on their categories. Listen to Chris and Matt try to remain civil while deciding which rides should be in the brackets and which ones can go.
On this episode, Chris welcomes back guest co-host Westley to give their review of The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue which they attended in February 2024 at the Pioneer Hall located at Disney's Fort Wilderness.
Also, we're trying something new at the Mass Mouse Fans podcast... Structure! In what we hope will be a consistent trend, we'll be giving you some of the top WDW news stories from the week to keep you updated on some of the more important happenings in and around Walt Disney World.
