What the heck is a Golden Connection?
In network marketing, a "golden connection" is a highly valuable and productive relationship between two individuals that can greatly benefit each other's network marketing efforts.
This type of connection is often formed between a successful network marketer and a highly influential individual that has a large following or customer base.
By partnering with this influential individual, the network marketer can gain access to a larger audience and potentially attract more customers or recruits.
The term "golden" is used to emphasize the immense value of such a connection, which can lead to significant growth and success in network marketing.
However, it's important to note that building such a connection requires patience, persistence, and genuine effort to establish a mutually beneficial relationship based on trust and respect.
Cameron Toth had a "get to know you" or what he likes to call a "bonding call" with a potential "GOLDEN CONNECTION".
Let's call this person "POTENTIAL"
Because I believe everyone has the potential to be someone that refers you and that you refer.
Cameron shared his story, his passion, his goals without any thought of "SELLING" to or at POTENTIAL.
After all.
This was their first call and Cameron really didn't know POTENTIAL at all yet.
Even after Cameron was vulnerable and shared his story POTENTIAL really didn't open up.
Before the end of the call POTENTIAL asked Cameron to send some emails on POTENTIALS behalf to help sell their product/service.
This left a bad taste in Cameron's MIND!!!
Cameron could have definitely become a golden connection for POTENTIAL.
But because of POTENTIAL's approach Cameron isn't motivated to refer him to anyone.
