Every now and then, you need a moment of reflection. I like to call those moments Master Piece Moments. 

Are you sad or are you depressed? Twenty years of experience has shown me that it's not as easy as people think to 'just snap out of it'. Whether you go the counseling, medication, or positive psychology route, treat yourself with love along the way.

Homework: 1) If you suspect you may be dealing with depression, see a mental health professional immediately for diagnosis; 2) If you have been diagnosed with depression, continue seeking counseling and maybe explore expressive arts therapy; 3) Pinpoint the timeframe or event that likely started your onset and deal with the emotions around it.
