This week's MASTERY episode takes us to the worlds of India, permaculture, food forests, television, and children's stories as we follow Komal Thakur on her Human Design adventure.

Komal is nearing the end of her first 7-year cycle of Human Design and shares highlights from her journey of mastery as well as some tips for Projectors on the art of allowing and the checks and balances of your motivation when an invitation is not fully present to respond to.

Komal has six defined centers (Ajna, Throat, G, Ego, Spleen, Root), one undefined center (Sacral), and two open centers (Solar Plexus and Head). She also has the Channels of Acceptance (17-64); Inspiration (1-8); Surrender (44-26); and Struggle (38-28).

"Nothing is more profound than the Channel itself." – Ra Uru Hu

We agree. It's why we starting offering "nicknames" to the channels as we worked with clients so they could understand and internalize them, accelerating their growth and transformation.

When one of our clients had difficulty grasping the energetic essence of The Channel of Transitoriness, a Design of a Jack of all trades, we started using the phrase "FOMO" (fear of missing out), and eventually created a channel archetype called "THE THRILL-SEEKER."

We also did this for the Channel of Struggle, A Design of Stubbornness — a description that can frighten or offend those who are new to Human Design from going deeper — creating a channel archetype called "THE WARRIOR."

Then we did it for the Channel of Surrender, A Design of being a Transmitter, because what does that even mean? For this we created a channel archetype called "THE POWERBROKER."

When we saw how much more easily we could move around a chart in a consult or coaching session, and how these archetypes were helping us activate and internalize the traditional Human Design names and keynotes by creating a helpful context, we realized the real power of these archetypes — to help Human Design students, experimenters, and practitioners accelerate their learning and comprehension of the quantum in their design.

This week's MASTERY episode takes us on the journey of Jen Vertanen, a 6/2 Triple Split Emotional Manifesting Generator with eight defined centers. (Her only undefined center is the G center of self-love, identity, and direction.)

She has a lot going on in her chart which left her feeling undeserving of being a mother, doubting her natural tendencies to nurture and support others (as a parent, partner, daughter, and coach), and doubting her marriage to "her greatest cheerleader."

Are you haunted by the ghosts of decisions past? That's because you let your mind make your decision for you instead of the higher intelligence of your Authority.

This episode offers an example for how to deconstruct the memories that make you cringe so you can understand them through your Authority and design and move on.

Life is too short to keep these self-limiting, self-blaming, self-suffering loops playing — you have more important things to do and valuable contributions to make with your life.

Your Authority will never make you cringe, because it's a mechanic wired into your unique design that supports you in being your unique design.
