I had the opportunity to speak with Praveen Suvarna about inductive safety analysis.

He explained that inductive safety analysis is a method in which you know the causes at the lower level and use them to induce a phenomenon at a higher level.

This type of analysis takes a bottom-up approach - starting at a lower level and then approaching a higher level.

While there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer, diversity will always benefit a company.

This can be cultural diversity, ethnic diversity, or even age diversity.

Age diversity in general can be hugely beneficial.

If you bring on younger employees, certainly they’ll bring new ideas and values in.

But, you can also bring in older employees who may have more experience.

As a leader, how do you keep yourself motivated?

My colleague, Neeraj Dharmadhikari, posed this question to me.

I believe there are two paths to motivation.

The first path is finding enjoyment in the outcome.

You feel a rush of dopamine when you achieve an outcome. The downside is that you have to increase your achievement level to continue to feel the rush.

The second path stems from having a purpose. If you have a purpose, you enjoy the process. There will be no end to your motivation.
