One question I received (from Sumi Yohannan, SCPM) -> At the time of the interview, did the team member know about the weakness?
As Gary Vaynerchuk says, “hiring is guessing; firing is knowing.”
At the time of the interview, we only get a snapshot of the potential hire even though our process is extensive. In the interview, we can evaluate their knowledge, but we can’t know how they will perform, which can only be discovered in the field.
