It's obvious that as an Entrepreneur you must think fast, make smart decisions, and handle the stress well. It's also the common knowledge that to achieve this, we need the right nutrition that supports this way of thinking.
That's easy to say for all the nutrition experts but what if you barely have time to eat and the stress causes you to crave junk foods.
The more stressed and busy I am, the more prone I am to pick up junk food that makes me think slower, make worse decisions, and cause the hormonal imbalance (ultimately causing me to cope with stress even worse).
It's a terrible catch 22.
I have learned it the hard way - gaining more than 20kg and then changing my ways, losing that 20kg, and getting back on track with my life.
Here is the approach that I used to increase the quality of my life and health massively (without cutting off my tasty snacks) that I think is worth sharing with the public. This is from a not-a-nutrition guru perspective but from the application of simple entrepreneurial rules that I normally use in my work: the 80/20 rule, minimalism, utility, accessibility, and such.
I needed something smarter than: "Eat more veggies" advice. I needed food that is as tasty and as easily accessible as junk food but HEALTHY.
I then figured that healthy nutrition can be both satisfying and quickly accessible as the junk food - if you apply these 3 rules:
Pick tastes you crave (maximize the utility)
Find ways to replicate those tastes in a healthy way (pick non-processed, local ingredients)
Minimize the approach by finding ways to get those foods ready fast (minimize and simplify prep. Time no matter if you make it or if you have a chef)
In today's video, I am showing you how I replaced commercial, sugary chocolate with an antioxidant superfood bliss as an example of this approach.
To shoot this video I met a gym owner & trainer who also happens to be a chocolatier and owns his little hand-made chocolate factory. He was just the best person to validate my hypothesis.
Then I accidentally met his business partner and learned quite a lot about running your very own factory on developing markets.
