Matt Luna Fishing

The California Delta is full of giant largemouth bass, and is an awesome tidal fishery.  The Wild West Bass Trail held their final pro/am tournament of the season on the well known fishery, and the weights overall did not disappoint.  I fell short on what I needed on day 2 and ended up in 77th place.  There were over 120 pro's competing in the event. One of my favorite types of crankbaits to throw is a square bill crank bait.  I've had epic days on the square bill in the past, and I recently got a new rod and reel set up to throw the square bill, and I wanted to share it with you.  The rod I got is a 6th Sense Lux rod, and is 7'2 med-hvy, mod-fast action, and I paired it up with a Daiwa Tatula SV reel in a 6.3:1 gear ratio.
