The bass fishing industry fell in love with the ned rig the past few years, and fisherman have caught a lot of highly pressured smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass in tough fishing conditions on this awesome finesse bait!  The Z Man Finesse TRD is the bait that initially found its way into the main stream, and many other brands came out with their own plastic lures.  Watch this video to learn a lot about the ned rig and catch more fish!

In this episode, I am trying to simplify your trip to Bass Pro Shops, Cabelas, online stores like Tackle Warehouse, or your local tackle shop.  Bass fishing and all the associated lures like plastic worms, drop shot baits, ned rig baits, crankbaits, jerkbaits, fishing line, fishing reels, fishing rods, and more can be overwhelming.  Watch this video and simplify the process!  Know that you are buying the right equipment!

January was a busy month for me!  It was fishing filled!  That is, of course, a good thing, but it wasn't without sacrifice.  Lots of time away from home, travel, time off of work, and spent a lot of money!  Just to be clear, I'd do it all over again! LOL it was a blast!

In this episode, I take you through my recent event on Shasta Lake.  The fishing in practice was decent, but I did not find the quality I was hoping for.  Follow along my 2 days on the water for this event.

The next event of the 2019 season was the Wild West Bass Trail event at Lake Shasta (Shasta Lake), where the search for big spotted, smallmouth and largemouth bass begins.  The cold weather spotted bass bite really well at Lake Shasta in the winter months typically, but the largemouth and smallmouth will be caught as well.  Follow along my drive out to the lake and hear my thoughts and expectation for this event!

In this episode of the podcast, I take you through my two days of practice out at Lake Shasta for the Wild West Bass Trail Pro/Am event.  Lake Shasta has a ton of fish in it, and getting bites and catching fish is not the issue.  Finding the right bites is what Shasta is all about.  I had a few of those right bites, so I was hopeful going into the tournament days that I could catch the right quality.  Follow along to find out!

In this episode I take you through the WON Bass Arizona Open at Lake Havasu in January of 2019.  The bite was very tough, and it was difficult to stay motivated and focused.  I forced myself to grind and fish hard the entire time, and wasn't able to put all the pieces together to have a good event.
