As you've seen, Season 3 is dedicated to my father, Mike Jacox, who passed away late in 2021. I Love and miss you, Dad.

Today's guest, Matt Smith,  is my former teammate from Central Washington University, where we played football together in the mid-1990s.  Yes, that is an Uncle Rico moment. Matt has always been a top producer throughout his sales & business career. He is now the President of Family First Life Northwest and the Managing Partner of Integrity Marketing Group. Matt shares with us where his ability to achieve these results came from and his passion for desire and believing in yourself.   Throughout this episode, we talk about the dangers of ego and why receiving feedback in our life is so vital.   Additionally, we discussed the impact of listening and why this is such a gift for fathers as they are leading their families. 

One of my favorite parts of this episode is when Matt shared with me that progress in any area of your life can and will create happiness.   Lastly, he talked about being present and intentional in everything we do as fathers!  So much more wisdom to unpack, so please make sure you grab a notepad to take notes during this episode.
