SURPRISE EPISODE!

We did a LIVE viewing with our PATREONS for the Netflix TRAINWRECK episode on Balloon Boy, and it was SO much fun! and this is Matt's 'deepish' dive on the case.

In case you don't know in 2009, a family of 5, made something that closely resembled, a jiffypop, but it was meant to be a saucer that they would fill with helium, and launch.  However, they would claim, that in their attempt to test it, they had neglected to properly tether it to the ground, and it had taken off with their six-year old son Falcon inside.

What ensued would be over 2 hours of rescue services trying to control the giant jiffypop, in an attempt to rescue the boy.  But, when it finally landed and there was no Falcon inside,  authorities needed to figure out; did he, somehow fall out without someone noticing?  was this all a giant hoax?  or, was it all just a simple misunderstanding?
