SURPRISE EPISODE!

We did a LIVE viewing with our PATREONS for the Netflix TRAINWRECK episode on Balloon Boy, and it was SO much fun! and this is Matt's 'deepish' dive on the case.

In case you don't know in 2009, a family of 5, made something that closely resembled, a jiffypop, but it was meant to be a saucer that they would fill with helium, and launch.  However, they would claim, that in their attempt to test it, they had neglected to properly tether it to the ground, and it had taken off with their six-year old son Falcon inside.

What ensued would be over 2 hours of rescue services trying to control the giant jiffypop, in an attempt to rescue the boy.  But, when it finally landed and there was no Falcon inside,  authorities needed to figure out; did he, somehow fall out without someone noticing?  was this all a giant hoax?  or, was it all just a simple misunderstanding?

In Part 2 of our coverage we will go through the correspondence between the 'Bind, Torture, Kill' murderer, and the Wichita Police. 

Even after they thought that he was a thing of the past, in 2004, when an article was published in The Wichita Eagle, in which an expert is quoted, saying that; when mentioning the killer to his students, none of them even knew the name. This would evoke a response from this repugnant parasite, and the lines of communication would once again, be opened.

Starting in the 1970's in Wichita Kansas, mysterious, horrific murders started happening in this once, unlocked door community. Authorities did not know what to make of this sudden increase in violent crimes, and did not want to upset the community, before being absolutely certain that the crimes were connected. And, then a call was received at a local newspaper. The caller said that there would be a letter, located inside a book on Mechanical Engineering, at the main branch of the local library, inside would be a letter that would make it crystal clear, the author, would have information that only the killer could possibly have.

Do you guys know what a phrogger is?! Well, you should because it happens so often that they were able to make an entire season with 2 cases per episode on the Lifetime Network!!!! Check your attic, check your garage. This is a new worst fear for me, unlocked! Think of a squatter, but the home in which they are squatting is already being lived in, and the person who was already living there, did not give permission, nor do they know that the squatter is there..

We recorded this episode the DAY before the jury finally reached the verdict.
