Arturo Alonso-Sandoval is a recent college graduate, attaining a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Oklahoma. With the help and trust of this community, Arturo has also managed to win his seat in the State House of Representatives representing District 89 in south Oklahoma City as one of the youngest elected officials in the legislature. Growing up on the south side of Oklahoma City, Arturo knows what it's like to face structural injustices. From his experiences, Arturo developed values such as learning, resilience, and service, immersing himself in academic and extracurricular activities while always striving to leave a lasting contribution in his community. Arturo is a first-generation American, bilingual, and son of immigrant parents from Mexico so he is committed to working hard and fighting for progress.

Juan Lecona was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on September 16th Mexico's Independence Day. Juan's dad, Javier Lecona was an aerodynamic engineer and his mom, Elodia Gonzalez was in the Mexican military and a nurse. Lecona was 11 years old when his parents separated and he moved to south Texas in 1990. Juan Lecona is a graduate of Capital Hill High School and has become the first immigrant to take office on the Oklahoma City Public Schools board.

Lee Hernan was born in the town of Moca, Puerto Rico. She grew up in the town of Aguadilla. From a very young age, she participated in different singing competitions and activities, making herself known through music and dance. Her musical talent was inherited by one of her grandparents who taught her to play the guitar when she was 16 years old. Since then, Lee Hernan began to write songs of her own inspiration.
