The Mavs have lost again. There isn't much that can be said about it. Luka, Spencer, and Jalen scored points. Nobody else did. We still can't rebound. No shock that didn't change between the last game and today. The Warriors executed. The Mavericks didn't.

May 21, 2022 The Dallas Mavericks Just Blew a F*cking Lead: The Outsiders Are Not On the Same Page After the Game 2 Loss to the Warriors
It was the best of halves, it was the worst of halves. The Mavs dominate early and fall apart late in Game 2 of the Mavericks-Warriors series.
With the Mavs down 0-2 again, the mood among Dallas Mavericks fans has gone right back to doom and gloom again. Reese and Bibs are not completely on the same page with the post-game thoughts but they did see the game the same way.
The Mavs defense was terrible, the offense was lazy, and Kevon Looney looked like the best center in the league. Jason Kidd did not stop his team from imploding which only exacerbated the problems on the court.
This was a short one so I don't think you need a minutes breakdown.

May 19, 2022 We've Been Here Before: The Outsiders Discuss the Game 1 Loss to the Golden State Warriors
The Dallas Mavericks will begin the series down 0-1. Let me know if you've heard this before. The Mavs lost to the Warriors on the road in a game that started badly from a shooting standpoint and then got bad on the defensive end as well.
The Outsiders aren't panicking though. There was a lot to like about this game and there are adjustments to be made for sure. After games 1 and 2 of the Suns series there was not a lot to like at all as it seemed the Suns were in full control.

May 16, 2022 Everybody Acts Tough When They're Up: The Mavs Pimp Slap the Suns in Game 7. The Outsiders React
The Dallas Mavericks are in the Western Conference Finals.
Let me repeat that.
The Dallas Mavericks are in the Western Conference Finals. The two teams that went to the Finals last year have been eliminated so each conference will have a new representative. On the Western side, it will be the Dallas Mavericks vs. the Golden State Warriors which should be a helluva series.
I'm getting ahead of myself. The Mavs went wire to wire against the Suns, holding them to just 27 points in the first half of this game while having scored 27 points in the first quarter. The Suns were never locked in and before they knew it the game was over.
He who laughs last laughs loudest.

WOW. We did it. We held home court. The Mavericks have forced a Game 7 against the Phoenix Suns. The Suns definitely did not plan to be here and the Mavs are essentially playing with house money. This was a complete game from the Mavs. Everyone contributed and players who were asked to do more did so.
Now we find out if the Mavs can win a game in Phoenix. Everything is on the line Sunday.

WE BACK! The Dallas Mavericks have won two in a row to even the series and all of a sudden the Mavs have life. The Phoenix Suns got cocky and now the pressure is back on him as the series heads back to Phoenix.
Both Bibs and Reese missed at least half of the game but they got to see the team close and that was enough. The Mavs found some things that worked and executed to take care of home court. Now can those adjustments work on the road?

May 08, 2022 Series Ain't Over: The Outsiders Talk about the Mavs Game 3 Win Over the Suns and Doctor Strange (no spoilers)
After it looked almost hopeless, The Outsiders suggested that if the Mavs wanted to get back into the series they had to do something different. They did, and it resulted in a Game 3 win.
The Mavs started posting Luka up and also swapped Frank Ntilikina into the rotation for Josh Green. Both moves were highly effective and just like that the Dallas Mavericks are back in the series. Being back on their home court also seemed to fuel the team.
Game 4 is another big one where a loss puts us right back into an almost impossible situation while a win changes everything completely.
At the end of the episode, Bibs and Reese talk about Doctor Strange in a non-spoiler fashion.

May 06, 2022 Show Me Something New Kidd: The Outsiders Discuss Game 2 against the Suns and the Mavs Hopes to Bounce Back
In game 2 of the series, the Suns hit the Mavericks with the rope-a-dope. For the entirety of three quarters the Mavs were right there but in the fourth, Chris Paul and then Devin Booker teed off on the Mavs and Luka had no one join him in fighting back.
Tony Brothers did his best to hold it down for the Mavs in the first half but it wasn't enough. Luka balled out but Reggie Bullock's 16 and Spencer Dinwiddie's 11 were the only two performances to produce double-figure scoring and almost every other performance was a disappointment. You can honestly lump Dinwiddie's performance in with the disappointments actually.
We move back to Dallas for game 3 and we will see what adjustments Kidd makes and if we can get some better performances out of the "others."
