Perry Stephen Polito has been playing in Madison bands since the early 70s with his first band Shock, and later Falcon thru the 80s. after a lengthy hiatus to start a family, Perry came back to the music scene founding his own band Mars Hall.

By day, Jessica Lanius is Artistic Director for Theatre Lila in Verona. And afterhours, Jessica is the Co-founder of western Dane County's newest art facility, ART HOUSE 360.

ART House 360° is not just a movement for greater wellbeing, connection, and artistic expression through the arts but on August 14th ART House 360 celebrates moving into the material world with a ribbon cutting after renovating a 1917 historic school house that will feature a rehearsal studio and performance venue. And Verona Mayor Luke Diaz will be there! This is a big deal, and here in the studio to tell us all about ART House 360 is co-founder Jessica Lanius.

The 9th annual Eken Park Festival takes place on Madison's northeast side on Saturday, August 16th from 11am to 8pm and features music, food, beer, kids fun and more. Organizer Charlie McNulty is in the studio with highlights.

Madison-based Kat & the Hurricane received 5 awards this year from the Madison Area Music Association and frequently tour the country but face issues along the way as an All-Queer-Trans indie pop band and tell us how they are working to be part of the solution.

Marta is a songwriter, vocalist, and pianist. She has been performing in the Madison area for many years and has been nominated for both MAMA and WAMI awards. Marta is piano technician and is the owner of The Piano Gal Shop in Sun Prairie.

Marta writes about complex issues and has finished production of a video for her song “Bang Bang” that deals with the sobering thought of school shootings from a mother’s perspective.
