This movie BLEW my socks off! Like they are gone... A simple premise of 2 men having dinner and discussing the essence of humanity. It's profound and simple and complex and weird and intoxicating and really like nothing else I've ever seen. It feels like it was made yesterday even tho it's almost 40 years old. Such a rare and unexpected treat we should all enjoy!

I FREAKING love movies. And it got brought to my attention my top ten list contains about 93 movies, WHOOPS! So I chopped down my selections to an actual list that adhere's to the 10 movie categorization. It was IMPOSSIBLE but somehow we did it, so enjoy!

Charlie Kaufman broke me. I didn't want to do this podcast, or discuss his maddeningly sad take on existence. But Kaufman movies burrow in your cerebral cortex like deer ticks and refuse to leave until you acknowledge their presence. I watched Netflix's "I'm Thinking of Ending Things" Sept 2, 2020 right when it came out and I've thought about little else since. Yup. An electronic idiot box is my very best friend in the world, and I really enjoy that fact. The television gives us the gift of shows, films and live sports ranging from inspiring to harrowing. You can become an expert in South American politics or mindlessly laugh as Spongebob Squarepants eats way too much ice cream. No judgments, an on/off switch and portable stories that are collectively costing trillions of dollars right at your finger tips. Nothin better..... where's my remote?
