End the day in a way so old it’s new.

Compline is an ancient half-hour candlelit service featuring the Trinity Choir. “These are the church’s bedtime prayers, and they mark that transition from day into night,” explains the Rev. Daniel Simons, priest for liturgy and pilgrimage. “We pray Compline on Sunday evening as a transition before the beginning of the week, as a way to reflect, renew, and refresh.” 

Trinity welcomes the San Francisco Girls Chorus at this special Compline service. This will be an inaugural “chorister exchange” with the Trinity Youth Chorus; the weekend will include singing together at the 11:15am service, an improvisation workshop, social activities, and a joint Compline service featuring the music of Philip Glass.
