Spencer Leniu opens up about the immense pressure to conform to society's expectations, urging young people to stay true to themselves and avoid simply "falling in line" with how others want them to behave. He vows to never change or switch up regardless of fame or money, staying fiercely loyal to his roots in Minto and South Auckland. Spencer then brutally calls out the NRL media for their toxic clickbait tactics, labeling sports journalism as one of the "lowest jobs" that actively damages players' mental health while pretending to advocate for it. Finally, he clears the air regarding a controversial quote about "hating Tongans," exposing how the media twisted his words about a natural football rivalry to create fake drama.#MAYDAYMemoriesTIMESTAMPS:0:00 - EXPECTATIONS OF SOCIETY1:12 - TRUE TO YOURSELF1:55 - ATTACKING FOR A NEGATIVE STORY3:29 - ARE THEY ADVOCATES FOR MENTAL HEALTH4:48 - DO YOU HATE TONGANS

Nathan Cleary opens up about his brother Jett Cleary and handling media expectations as a young player making his way toward the NRL.

He shares his honest thoughts on Jett’s "ballsy" decision to join the NZ Warriors, noting it was the best move to help him escape the Sydney spotlight and pave his own path.

Nathan also reveals his worries about the intense pressure on young kids today, explaining how the media often builds players up just to tear them down, which ultimately hurts their families the most.

Finally, he offers his biggest advice for upcoming rookies on staying grounded, keeping a tight circle of trust, and ignoring both the extreme hype and negative noise.
