Today we're talking about the rankings and why it is hard to break into or out of the top 100. While lists differ and some make it easier than others, one of the things Walker and I talk about a lot its the fact that many courses seemingly stay in their some spot over and over and other new courses can't seem to get their due.

With all the things we have learned in the past 100 years of golf course architecture and with our equipment capabilities, it should be easier than ever to build a great golf course; however, the rankings don't always reflect that.
