Cabot Karoo is a high dollar project in South Florida whereas Champion Hill is a mom and pop sort of golf course outside of Traverse City, Michigan. While these 2 courses don't really have a ton in common, that in essence is what house theory is all about. Hello, Tie People! We are back for mudball monday and today we are talking about new builds and how we look at how they may age based on only one or two early plays of the golf course. We are in a some sort of a renaissance of new construction of golf courses and it is hard to predict within reason which of these courses may be ones that stand the test of time to become some of the world's best, and which ones will lose their shine quickly.

Today, we hope to make that a bit easier on you based on how we think about judging a new build and the things we look for in a course that will really have long term staying power!
