Matt and Brendo are joined by guest Hal Lublin of Welcome to Night Vale and The Thrilling Adventure Hour fame!  They discuss SummerSlam and the resulting fallout.

Matt and Brendo catch up on all that’s happened in the months since they last recorded.  They talk about Brendo’s Wrestlemania trip, triple cage matches, Money in the Bank, and lots more.  They also run down the upcoming SummerSlam card.

Brendo is super excited for Wrestlemania but Matt is a little apprehensive.  They discuss the card as well as Brendo’s upcoming trip to New Orleans for his first in person Wrestlemania as well as all the other wrestling shows he’ll be going to.  They also discuss Big Apple Takedown, Slam City, The WWE Network, No Holds Barred, and the QPW show they attended in Reseda.  Be sure to tell your friends if you dig the show!

Matt and Brendo discuss the Royal Rumble and sigh a lot about the current state of things in the WWE.  They also discuss CM Punk quitting and Brendo’s increased reservations about Wrestlemania 30.  Cheer up though, they also talk some indie wrestling!

Matt and Brendo lament yet another crappy WWE Pay Per View.  They also take a look at the upcoming TLC card and further on down the road to the Rumble and Wrestlemania.  Oh yeah, Brendo bought a Wrestlemania ticket which he may or may not regret doing.  All is redeemed when the guys take a look at the upcoming WWE comic book and a look back at some gems from the WWE Books back catalog.

Matt and Brendo discuss Hell in a Cell and lament the current state of the WWE.  They also talk about what they would like to see happen to TNA but probably won’t happen.  One can dream, right?

After recovering from the aftermath of SummerSlam, Matt and Brendo finally feel ready to talk about it.  They also talk about Night of Champions as well as Battleground.  I can’t believe three pay-per-views have happened since the last time we recorded.  Sorry about that.

Matt and Brendo are super pumped for SummerSlam next weekend as they discuss the card and the prospects of a Daniel Bryan championship win.  They also talk about all the great talent in NXT right now, why they aren’t watching TNA, some indie news, and take a look back at the Nitro Brendo went to when he was 17.
