McGregor Podcast

Most people who believe in Jesus have never been asked to put that faith into words in real time. The question of what you believe and why can stop you cold.

On this episode of Around McGregor, hosts Mark, Tamar, and Christian open March by welcoming Christian back after the birth of his son, Arlo. They walk through the full launch of Winter Part Two on Wednesday, March 4th, including Every Believer Confident, an introduction to apologetics, Cherish, a class for couples at every stage of marriage, and a new study through the book of Jude. They also cover the school auction on March 7th, disaster relief training on March 14th, the Legacy Choir Praise Breakfast on March 21st, and the God's Goodness Passion Week event on March 30th.

Listeners leave with a clear sense of how to get involved at McGregor this month and a good reason to look into Every Believer Confident, whether they are new to apologetics or just want to grow in confidence sharing the gospel. This episode is a helpful listen for members and regular attenders who want to plan ahead.

"The Unpardonable Sin"

(Matthew 12:22-32)

In this episode of the McGregor Podcast, Omar unpacks the "unpardonable sin" from Matthew 12:22-32, focusing on Jesus’ confrontation with the Pharisees and their rejection of the Holy Spirit's work. He clarifies that blasphemy against the Spirit is a willful, enduring, and unrepentant denial of God's grace, not just a momentary doubt or mistake. Omar encourages listeners that true repentance always leads to forgiveness in Christ, bringing reassurance to believers. He also challenges parents to actively teach their children to love Jesus and reject spiritual neutrality. The episode ends with an invitation for anyone far from God to embrace His grace while the opportunity remains.
