Let's say for argument sake: "X-MEN: Dark Phoenix" wasn't coming out so soon after Disney's purchase of FOX, do you believe Kevin Feige would have still waited however long he is waiting to debut the X-MEN in the MCU, why or why not?
2:00 Woo S! Kim
Since Captain Rogers is not technically dead, he now is just showing how old he actually is, do you think Chris Evans would ever come back in a mentor role for Spider-Man and or the other New Avengers whoever they may be?
2:51 Woo S! Kim
I have heard this rumor on the internet most notably on Nerdist that unlike in the comics Shang-Chi's father is not going to be foomanchew, but the real Mandarin, what are your thoughts on the potential of this Sean, would you like this choice why or why not?
5:00 Orion Zangara
Hey Sean!! Do you think we’ll ever get to a point where Marvel Television or Marvel Studios will create straight live action adaptations of famous Marvel comic book runs? For instance, I would love to see a Grant Morrison New X-Men or Joss Whedon Astonishing X-Men live action television series. DC comics/WB sometimes makes adaptations of comic book series with their animated features but it would be interesting if Marvel would not only do this with animated features but with live action features as well. Marvel Television and Marvel Studios obviously have been heavily influenced by the comics but are quite different in many ways. What are your thoughts about this?
As always, you guys rock!! Thanks again for being so awesome!

Do we think Eitri got the use of his hands back at the end of Endgame?
9:30 Alex Ward
Hi Sean! I'm finally caught up on Marvel Studios News and want to thank you again for producing such quality content on such an unbelievably consistent basis. I've also been loving Fandalorians and am so glad those episodes have been pouring in lately!
1) First, I want to say this question is not intended to take away from the epic scope of Endgame. But I wanted to ask -- after seeing Endgame, can you more easily see how Marvel Studios could up the ante for future "phase culminations"? For example, the final battle with Thanos could not have been more intense, fun, and engaging, but I could somehow see how Marvel could up themselves. For example, a cosmic-level battle with multiple recognizable villains, such as Doctor Doom and Galactus, while heroes fight multiple fronts on land, sea, and air.
15:37 Alex Ward
2) Also, do you think Marvel purposely manages "scale" in order to leave room to top themselves each time, or is that just an absolutely ridiculous notion?
16:41 Alex Ward
3) Do you think any efforts will be made in future Captain Marvel films to strengthen her ties to Earth? My only qualm with her character is that she seems somewhat distant from this world, which is fine, but I feel like that would keep her from ever becoming a dependable, available member of the Avengers. Then again, we've only seen the very beginning of her arc.
20:45 Alex Ward
4) After seeing Endgame, have your theories changed at all as to how Carol has maintained her youth?
21:45 Maya
Hi Sean! After seeing mural of Iron Man in the Far From Home trailer, it made me think about how Iron Man’s legacy and heroism will be realized across the galaxy. It’s expected that Earth will honor him, but do you think we will see any recognition and honor of Iron Man’s sacrifice on other planets in coming films? Especially with so many people from other galaxies joining in the final battle, I love the idea of there being various memorials commemorating him within the galaxy.
23:46 Michael Weaselboy
Hey Sean I was just wondering, do you wish we could have seen Nick Fury interact with the original six one final time??
25:55 Giuseppe Vicaretti
Hey Sean, my question for you this weekend is, if you were to choose One MCU movie to watch for the rest of you life which one would it be? Mine is Civil War.
27:25 Mookie Johnson
Do you think that there is still room for Lady Sif in the MCU if shooting schedules can be worked out?
28:24 Mookie Johnson
If Marvel had gotten full control of Spider-Man before shooting Infinity war, what movie do you think would have followed Endgame first? I figure it would have been a franchise that didn't feature a dusted character. So would it have been Eternals?
33:04 Mookie Johnson
Since the Time Stone was glowing in Infinity War when Dr. Strange gives it to Thanos, might he have been somehow orchestrating with Wong in the future the logistics of when and where to have sorcerers in preparation for the final battle?
35:16 David Rosen
Hey Everyone, Hope all is well and everyone had a great week! I believe after Infinity War, it was confirmed by someone from the movie (either one of the Russos, or Markus and/or McFeely) that Gamora was in the Soul World, implying that while she is dead on earth, she “is” somewhere, and ipso facto, it would also mean that Natasha “is” somewhere as well. If this is the case, how would you feel about a “dead” Natasha narrating her movie from the Soul World? Even if we only hear and don’t see her, I feel like this could be an interesting way to incorporate a “present” Natasha, so even if it does take place in her past, we would still get her current reflection of her past experiences. Do you think this would help with the idea (not that I agree with it) that getting people to care about the Black Widow movie will be difficult because she’s dead? Thoughts?
42:51 David Rosen
Also, on the subject of Vormir, do you think it’s possible that the giant cloud and beam of light that appears in the sky when someone sacrifices themselves (or in Gamora’s case, gets sacrificed by someone else) is actually a portal to the soul world? Perhaps when someone dies, it triggers that beam which actually sucks up the body and sends down the soul stone. Do you have any ideas on how that whole exchange actually takes place? What do you think is up in those clouds and/or happening with that beam of light?

Hey Sean, big fan! Just wanted to know what happened with Katherine Langford and what was her role gonna be in Avengers: Endgame.
4:55 Tom DeMichele
Sean, we’re seeing the Russo’s and Markus & McFeely being asked a lot of the same questions lately. If given the opportunity, what burning questions would you have for these four, whether it’s about spoilers or process?
13:33 Alex Ward
In honor of Game of Thrones ending and Richard Madden's rumored casting in the Eternals, which other Game of Thrones actors would you like to see join the MCU, and as which characters?
15:29 Alex Ward
Similarly, are there any actors in the formerly-owned-by-Fox Marvel films that you'd like to see in the MCU, and who would you like to see them play? I'd like to see Logan's Dafne Keen involved somehow, even if it's not as X-23.
17:31 Alex Ward
What would your lineup be if they made a Thunderbolts movie?
21:29 Giuseppe Vicaretti
Hey Sean and fellow Patrons. There is definitely not enough on the shows yet to give an opinion on them, but just for what we have now, if you could rate the upcoming shows from best to worst what do you think will be the result? I personally think WandaVision and Falcon&Winter Soldier will surpass the Loki Series and the Hawkeye series. But I also think they will be way too close to call in popularity to give a best out of the rest. But again, if you could rate them based on what we have right now, how would you rate them?
23:09 Mookie Johnson
Why do you think we did not get to see Bucky use his left arm in Infinity war and Endgame? Was this a budget concession? Unless I missed it, we only saw him using the machine gun in battle. Also, do you think his new arm has increased strength levels and any new tricks?
25:32 Woo S! Kim
With all this talk/hype of a Bucky/Sam Wilson series I want to see either a Nebula Rocket series or a Gamora Nebula series I am leaning towards the latter just because of how expensive doing the motion capture for Rocket may be, I just want to see Nebula in a Disney+ or Hulu series, Sean. What say you, Sean?
26:41 Woo S! Kim
What type of 4K Blu-ray player do you own, do you currently have a 4K Blu-ray Player that supports Dolby Vision, what is your dream 4K TV of choice? Also, you seem to have a good intuition about these types of things, being in a wheelchair only the Regal Cinemas in Las Vegas that have wheelchair IMAX seats in the middle of the cinema. My question is if my only option is seating at the very back of the cinema or one row behind the front of the cinema for AMC IMAX, which do I choose and why?

Hey Sean!! My apologies if you’ve answered this before, but at some point in the future if a Secret Wars event were to happen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (or in this case, multiverse), do you think this would diminish the impact of future large-scale events? In the comics after Secret Wars by Jonathan Hickman, I noticed Marvel Comics had a little bit of a slump and tended to focus more on small-scaled personal stories, not really as many large events. And when they introduced something more on the cosmic level, it felt less consequential than Secret Wars or Jonathan Hickman’s Avengers run. So in the movies, it may be a little difficult to build up to something that huge again. Also, as a side note, it would be amazing to see different Battleworld movies leading up to a Secret Wars event.
What do you think? Do you have any concerns about this hypothetical situation?
Your podcast is so much fun to listen to and I really appreciate all what you and Paul do! I kind of feel like both of your are Marvel scholars. Thanks so much! :)
33:39 Giuseppe Vicaretti
How dramatic do you think the upcoming Disney+ shows will be? Will Falcon&WinterSoldier be a crime thriller, will WandaVision be a romantic comedy, etc.? Preferably that would be how I assume they will make them but could I be mistaken or do you agree?
35:25 Giuseppe Vicaretti
My final question for you is how many episodes do you think they will sign off on, and how many seasons do you think these shows could get? Obviously, it would be based on the popularity but I can see them giving us as many as 5 seasons each with 20 episodes at a 30-40min length. Am I way off on that estimation or do you think they could get there?
39:19 James Kaplan
Hi Sean, really enjoying the podcasts and glad to be a supporter. The last time I asked a question, it was about Captain Marvel, and I have another captain Marvel question I’d like to ask. So, there’s an approximately 23-year gap between The end of Captain Marvel and when ‘Carroll first appears in Endgame, and then another five-year gap until she reappears. What I think is great about that is the amount of flexibility and it leaves marvel studios, and then they could set the story at almost any time., Or tell a story that takes place over the course of many years. My question is, is there any particular sort of story you would be interested in seeing? I would love to see a story about Carol teaming up with a grown-up Monica who is now photon, I think that would be a lot of fun. Because there’s nothing to say that Carol’s appearance at the beginning of endgame is the first time she has been back to earth.

Hey Sean!
Do you think the rules of time travel in the MCU that were established in End Game have any impact on our chances of seeing Kang the Conqueror? And if we do see him, given Kang’s comic book origin, do you think the MCU’s time travel rules will have an impact on the Kang we may see in the MCU?
Hope you’re well man!
45:36 Eric Jensen
Hey Sean, my 7 year old son wants me to ask you what past Thor will use as a weapon since future Thor took Mjolnir into the future with him.
46:17 Mike Gonyea
Hey Sean! Wanted to hear your thoughts about the Kevin Feige AMA he held on Twitter/Reddit. Someone asked him if the Mandarin and the 10 rings could make a return to the MCU, he simply replied 'yes'. Do you think that would be something we could see in a Disney+ series or would there be a movie that would make sense to have them in? Thank you for your time!
48:15 Mike Gonyea
Quick question for you Sean. It seemed to me that the rules of the Gauntlet changed slightly from Infinity War to Endgame. This is in regards to how the stones effect the user. Thanos was able to wear the Gauntlet without being harmed and when he did the first snap, this is when his arm was burned from the stones. When Hulk put Tony's Gauntlet on his arm immediately starts to burn up from the stones, before he does his snap. Can we chalk this up to visual storytelling? Or would this be a physiological difference between Thanos compared to other beings that try to use the Gauntlet/Stones? Have a good day man!
50:53 Jeremy Watson
Hey Sean. Do you think that the special features on the Endgame home release will contain the multiple hours of deleted/alternate scenes? If not, do you think Disney will/could release a special dvd that includes all the additional content from Endgame, Infinity War, etc.? Thanks
52:23 Brett Heier
Hi Sean, in infinity war, scarlet witch can only destroy the mind stone because her powers had the same energy signature as the stone. Does this mean that captain marvel could destroy the space stone? Also, if there were, say, 2 power stones in the same room, could one destroy the other? And, in endgame, Wanda says that both nat and vision know that they won, but would Vision really know? He’s last moment alive was spent being choked while thanos ripped the final stone from his head. I also saw a article that claimed that Wanda was really talking about 2018 gamora (I don’t think this is true). Even if she was talking about gamora, would that be true either? Her last moments were spent being thrown off a cliff, knowing that her father was collecting yet another stone. Finally, do you think we will ever see the fifth member of the black order, aka supergiant? Anyway, thanks for all the that work you do!

One of the things I am really looking forward to about the Sam Wilson/Bucky Barnes series is hopefully playing off of something in the comics, that being Sgt. Barnes’ road to redemption, even with the Snap and The Avengers saving the world, a lot of governments around the world aren’t going to forget all the people The Winter Soldier murdered in the last sixty years or so, do you believe this will be aspect of the show, Sean?
4:52 Woo S! Kim
In your Head Canon, who is NoobMaster69?
5:26 Woo S! Kim
I have seen “Avengers: Endgame” five times, I get the feeling that Okoye is lying to the other heroes during the Google Hangout at The Avengers Facility. I think she knows that tremors from under the African plate are caused by Atlanteans and she wants to keep this information under wraps because the Wakandans want to handle this matter, their own, however, this may have nothing to do with Namor, but do you see my point?
7:30 Alex Ward
Do you think by the time we see X-Men and the Fantastic Four in the MCU, the current state of things--half the population missing five years and the trauma involved--will have dissipated at least on the cinematic side of things? For example, do you think enough time will have passed that it won't get brought up by characters like Reed Richards and Professor X?
10:03 Giuseppe Vicaretti
Hey Sean, my question for you this week is how do you think Disney will distribute the episodes for the upcoming TV shows that will be coming to DisneyPlus? I personally don't have a specific preference to episodes being released on a weekly basis or all at once, but where do you stand? Do you prefer weekly releases over all at once? And what do you think will be the end result?
21:52 Cory Kostiuk
Hey Sean 👋. With Ironman gone from the MCU do think we will still see Pepper Potts as Rescue show up in the MCU?
23:50 Kerry Vanderberg
He Sean, I hope you are doing well. This might be my first time writing in since Endgame came out. I’m happy to say I loved it!
The rules of the Soul stone - to the best of my memory - are “a soul for a soul.” In 2018 Thanos exchanges Gamora for the stone, and Natasha from 2023 sacrifices herself to give Barton the soul stone in 2014. So since Natasha sacrificed herself, and that stone was brought forward into 2023, does that mean that Gamora soul from 2018 would have been released? Are multiple souls allowed to inhabit the “world” of the Soul stone? And how would Cap be able to return the Soul stone? Since it seems like it’s a one-to-one exchange, what happens when the soul stone is given back to Vormir? Since that Soul Stone was returned in 2014, could that have released Natasha, but released her back into 2014 instead of her timeline? I know this is all space magic as Thor put it, but I’m wondering what your take is.
27:29 Kerry Vanderberg
Since you and Paul discussed the announcement of the line-wide relaunch of the X-Men books led by Jonathan Hickman, it got me potentially interested in picking up these new X-Men books. Since getting back into comics around 2008/2009, aside from a few trades or a few other random books here and there, I have not been able to bring myself to get back into Marvel Comics, namely the X-Men titles. Do you think that Hickman’s upcoming run will be a good way to bring in a lapsed X-Men reader like myself back into the titles?
30:22 Timothy Tyler
Hey Sean, so one thought that has been coming to me since seeing endgame involves the stones being reduced to Atoms in the present timeline. Could you see a scenario where someone goes into the quantum realm and collects those atoms, sorta like Scott collects quantum energy. Then we see them perhaps reassembling the stones in the present, or are they most likely gone for good with a focus on new things?
32:59 Rick Sampson
We have been hearing of the rumored beginnings of the next phase of the MCU, inclusive of Guardians 3, Dr. Strange 2, Black Panther 2, the beginnings of the Eternals and Shang Chi. The movie I have heard nothing of as far as start expectations or release is Captain Marvel. Besides Dr. Strange 2, this is the sequel I have am looking forward to. I am new to patreon and am loving seeing the Daily Bugle. Thanks.
35:53 Giuseppe Vicaretti
My last question for you Sean is, do you think we may see Galactus in a future MCU movie maybe in Eternals or Doctor Strange? Or is it possible we may never get Galactus again besides seeing him in Rise of the Silver Surfer which wasn't even a good interpretation.
