Today, we sit down to discuss "The Many Saints of Newark: A Soprano's Story". This film as it all! Today, IN THIS COUNTRY, Kevin and Scott review The Departed. Which will certainly not add inches to any body part, male or female. In fact, studies show that listening to us rant will undoubtedly shorten your life by at least 5 years. We're like smoking, oh so bad, but you just can't quit us. You wish you could quit us, don't you?

Kevin and Scott continue their journey into Francis Ford Coppola's tale of Italian immigrants who come to America to become highly successful banana daiquiri salesmen.

We're smart! Not like everyone says - that we're dumb. We're smart! And we want respect! And more daiquiris!

Kevin and Scott sit down with a Very Special Guest to tackle Francis Ford Coppola's second take on the Family Corleone, The Godfather, part 2. Released in 1974 to surprisingly tepid reviews, it has come to be viewed as (perhaps?) the best of the trilogy, and certainly one of the greatest Mafia films OF ALL TIME.

This film is so epic we had to break it up into two parts, so sit back, relax, eat an orange and pour yourself a Cuba Libre, because it's gonna be a nice long journey.

90 miles long, to be exact.

Here at McWiseguys, we consume a wide variety of cinematic, and culinary, delights! For instance, we love some veal and peppers, some linguine and tomato sauce (don't put too many onions in the sauce, Kevin!) and perhaps surprisingly, fried catfish, squirrel dumplings and hush puppies. And in that same spirit of cultural integration, we present to you today, dear listener, a superb work of what Scott calls "Hillbilly Crime"! The Newton Boys came out in 1998 and was directed by Richard Linklater, and stars such Hollywood heavyweights as Matthew McConeghy and Ethan Hawke. So grab a banjo, a shot of whiskey, and some nitro glycerin, because this true story of cowboys-turned-bank-robbers will have your heart pounding faster than a midnight train robbery! Yee-Haw!

Is it better to be loved, or feared? Here at McWiseguys we really don't care either way, as long as you listen! In this episode, Kevin and Scott delve into Robert de Niro's 1993 directorial debut, "A Bronx Tale", starring Chaz Palminteri and Lilo Brancato, as well as de Niro himself, with a special appearance by Joe Pesci. Sounds good, am I right???
