For the second week running leaders Racing Santander lost, this time to relegation threatened Real Zaragoza. Almeria capitalised, brushing past Real Sociedad B but nobody else in the top six won. Burgos a major winner as they won their Derby against Real Valladolid and jumped in as a result. It went from bad to worse for Cultural Leonesa and Huesca whilst Pacheta’s Granada are making noises about the playoffs, they’ll have to get past Eibar and Ceuta first. 

In part 1 we will discuss the leader’s defeat, hope for Real Zaragoza, Almeria moving into the box seat and Burgos’ Derbi win. 

In Thursday’s part 2 we cover Eibar’s playoff charge, the teams up the top dropping points again, Andorra thrashing Cultural Leonesa and Granada thinking of the play offs.
