This week saw a few clubs scraping through by the skin of their teeth. Top two chasers Racing and more so Depor won, but only just, Las Palmas stormed back into top two contention and there were points dropped in the top six race as Castellon lost, Burgos could only draw and Malaga beat Eibar in Ipurua. 

Down the bottom there was a relegation six pointer which ended in disappointment for both teams, and Granada dealt another blow to Real Zaragoza's survival hopes.
