She graduated with an English degree and is currently exploring programmatic ad sales at iHeart Media. We are going to learn more about her day-to-day in ad sales, her life in NOLA before and after college. Finally, to wrap things up, we will also learn the difference of contextual targeting and third party cookie targeting. 

Can anyone define for me what an artist manager does? A lot of people get the terms agent and manager confused so today I’m bringing on a guest who works at Red Light Management as an Executive Assistant and Day to Day Manager. She wears a lot of hats within the management side of the music business and manages a few emerging artists as well. She is also a trained vocalist. Here Lauren what it's like to work at one of the biggest artist management firms in the music industry, her goals for her developing artists, and where she thinks the industry is headed in artist representation. 

Here is Sam Tall. He works at Studio71 as the Director of Music & Content Operations. He is a 10-year digital media veteran with a demonstrated history of revenue creation for independent and major label music artists. He makes sure that all of the copyright, monetization, and platform management functions are handled properly and proactively for the roster of over a thousand content creators and artists. Here he has helped several independent artists quit their day jobs. He is analytically driven and research oriented. Now we will learn more about the Studio71 brand, his experience in NYC and in LA and all about artist management and content operations. 

Here we will learn from Riley Nunes about creator partnerships. She is a young executive in the music industry who went to film school and now works at Whalar as the Creator Partnerships Executive. Whalar is an entertainment firm that intersects between creator partnerships for content creators, technology and brand partnerships within the music industry. She has such a unique background and has had experiences with fan engagement, digital marketing with TikTok experience. We are going to learn more about her personal and professional background and her upcoming short-term and long-term goals which include reading more (hoping to read 10 books by the end of this year), continuing to sharpen her leadership skills, and securing a position as a C-Suite executive in a decade. Jamie Roberts is the founder of For The Win Media. She is a publicist and marketing professional and she has a lot of clients in the alternative rock and metal spaces. She has been featured on Thrive Global, GH Strings, and Hypbot for interviews regarding her work in the music industry. She is going to give great wisdom on how to break in the business (She also gives these tips/tricks to her interns.). She got her start in college radio in New York. We will learn about her eclectic background working for numerous record labels including RoadRunner and many more.
