Real talk: This is easily the worst episode I've done so far. Fuck it, right? ALSO: An old friend once broke a guitar string, and because he was too lazy or didn't know how to put in a new string, he told everyone that he was working on some new experimental 5-string tunings. He was a true pioneer. I've decided to do the same when producing this episode, using a technique that I've coined, "Blitzkrieg Editing."

Before taking the next step in my brave and heroic journey, I must cleanse myself of all negativity. I retrieved my "shit list" from the safe deposit box, then read it out loud. I read it as loud as I could, until my vocal chords were screamin’ at me. I then burned the list and used the embers to brand a smiley face into my left arm: the arm with which I was born.

Different strokes for different folks, chocolate and vanilla ice cream, and so on. There won't be nothin' that every single person likes, just as there ain't'll gonna be a person that likes every single thing. Somethings don't get liked by nobody, and some bodies don't even like a single thing. But you haven't seen Game of Thrones, have you? I couldn't watch even if I wanted to. This entire show was produced without any electricity. I borrowed a generator to run the equipment, and when the gas ran out I figured I'd finally put to use that jug of canola oil I've had sitting on my coffee table for the past year. Enjoy.

What better way to celebrate Independence Day than to hit the ground running? That's my advice to you, but only after you tie your shoes. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The inspiration for this episode is the abrupt disassociation one feels during the short moment between tripping over one's own shoelaces (unexpectedly tripping over anything, really) and hitting the ground.
