Medical Hairloss treatments ~ Are the side effects worth it? 

Dr Ademir Leite Jr has been involved in lots of research into finasteride. He runs a clinic & Trichology school in Brazil.

Originally, when Dr Ademir began studying medicine, he had planned to study immunology, but once he discovered the field of trichology, he changed his mind.

He has suffered hair loss himself, as well as scalp concerns. 

We discuss which types of alopecia he sees the most at the moment, and which treatments are effective.

Dr Ademir shares how finasteride works, and we look at the side effects of DHT blockers & 5 a reductase inhibitors, including post finasteride syndrome. He describes how, as a medical professional, he has a responsibility to consider all benefits and down sides when recommending any treatment.

We also discuss natural solutions, if they are effective, and how multi- modal treatments may have more benefits and fewer side effects.
