Our first episode begins with the concept of generalism and generalist medicine. But with a bit of a twist to show you that your career in medicine can really be what you make it to be.
In this episode, we have Dr. Brendan Adams, an occupational physician here in Calgary and also a Clinical Assistant professor at the University of Calgary. He has been in practice for over 30 years and is certified by the Canadian College of Family Practice as well as the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine. Dr. Adams is an expert within Addictions and Aviation Medicine and teaches addiction medicine across North America. Dr. Adams is also licensed as an instrument rated commercial pilot and he has really blended that component of his life into his medical practice.
Join us as we explore a career in family medicine from an expert who has worked in both public and private practice.
