Mediocre
means something that is of average or below-average quality. It’s not terrible, but it’s far from excellent.

Examples:
1- A critic once described a famous singer’s latest album as mediocre, saying it didn’t have the same energy as their earlier hits.
2- My attempt at baking a cake was, let’s just say, mediocre. It wasn’t burnt, but it wasn’t fluffy either—it was more like a pancake in disguise!
