Scripture: Daniel 2:30

In this episode of Meditations, we reflect on Daniel’s humility when God revealed King Nebuchadnezzar’s mysterious dream to him.

Daniel had the answer no one else could provide, yet he refused to take the credit. He made it clear that the revelation did not come because he was wiser than everyone else. God was the source.

This is an important reminder for us: being used by God does not make us the source of what He does through us. Every gift, opportunity, insight, ability, and open door ultimately comes from Him.

We also discover another powerful truth: sometimes God gives something to us because He wants to give something through us. The wisdom He gives may be the answer someone else needs. The testimony He gives us may encourage another person. The resources He places in our hands may be intended to bless others.

The question is not only, “Lord, what will You give me?” but also, “Lord, what do You want to give someone else through me?”

• Never confuse being used by God with being the source.

• Humility allows us to receive from God without taking His glory.

• What God gives to us is often meant to flow through us to others.

• Our gifts should ultimately point people back to God.

There are times in life when circumstances move completely beyond our control. Decisions are being made by other people, the future feels uncertain, and there seems to be little we can do to change the situation.

But being beyond your control does not mean being beyond God’s control.

Daniel could not control Babylon, yet God gave him favour. Joseph could not control the false accusation that sent him to prison, yet the Lord was with him and gave him favour with the prison keeper.

In this episode of Meditations, we are reminded that God’s favour can protect and preserve us even in difficult environments. Sometimes God does not immediately remove us from the situation; instead, He gives us favour within it.

Our responsibility is to remain faithful, maintain our integrity, and trust God with what we cannot control.

God kept Daniel.
God kept Joseph.
And God will keep you.

One Mediator: Jesus Christ

Scripture: 1 Timothy 2:5

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” — 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV

There is only one mediator between God and humanity: Jesus Christ.

Sin created a separation that religion, good works, morality, or human effort could never repair. But Jesus stepped into that gap, gave Himself for us, and opened the way back to God.

In this episode of Meditations, we reflect on what it means for Jesus to be our mediator and why this truth gives every believer confidence to approach God directly. We do not need another human being to give us access to the Father. Through Christ, the way is already open.

Train for Godliness | 1 Timothy 4:8

Physical exercise has value, but Scripture reminds us that there is another kind of training with benefits that reach far beyond this life: training in godliness.
