I'm breaking down why consent is so important in this work, how to ensure you're always asking before sharing or doing anything energetically, and why this simple act builds trust and integrity with your clients.

We'll talk about what Reiki is and what I call Reiki "plus," which is anything you add to your Reiki sessions. If you're bringing in cards, messages, crystals, mediumship, or anything extra, you must ask for consent.

I'm sharing my best practices for getting clear, informed consent in your sessions, along with my biggest pet peeves when it comes to how I see practitioners getting it wrong.

A dragonfly flew into my ear and got stuck in my hair twice over three weeks, and it would not leave my mind, so I made a quick Instagram reel about it. Later, a client told me she had asked her dad in spirit to send me dragonflies as a sign for her. That same day, a second client shared that she had asked her late husband to get me to say the word "rainbow" in her session as a sign for her, and I did. I didn't know either request was out there until after.
