Chris Marchini is a sewist and quilter based in Portland, Oregon. He is the brains and personality behind Rose City Originals. With his unique style brought to life in his quilting patterns and the content in his socials, Chris is speaking to tens of thousands of quilters who resonate with him. From showing his "Randomly Generated Quilt" series to making perfectly pattern-matched dress shirts, Chris's twist on quilting draws a crowd. In 2023, Chris has been working on a year-long Community Quilt, that allowed his followers to participate in the creation of a quilt. Fans mailed in fabric, Chris used it in various quilt blocks and created a quilt to be raffled by through the Trevor Project.
