Anne and I started our recovery journeys very close to each other and  it films my hear with warmth to be able to chat to her about her  spiritual journey, both before recovery and over the past over 9 years.

 Christina and I have been Facebook friends for a long time. It was  only when I watched a video she posted that had to do with the question,  are you aware of what is in your food, that I started seriously  scrolling through her postings and found Trash Talk. Her new (eco  awareness Facebook  page)[https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=trash%20talk]. When I saw  what she was doing there I realised that I needed to get her to come and  talk to us.

 Marius and I only briefly met a few weeks ago at a meeting. Then, a  few days later, I got a message for my friend Fiona, The Photographer  from episode 5, suggesting that I speak to her friend Marius for “Meet  me in the field”. At that stage I did not know if was the same Marius. I  was somewhat surprised, yet very grateful that he agreed to come and  talk to us.

 Corrie is regarded as one of the top therapists in the field of  compulsive sexual behaviour in South Africa. It took me a while to  scrape the courage together to ask her to talk to “Meet me in the  field”. I am very grateful that she agreed and was seriously looking  forward to get to know her a bit a better.

 Today I am very happy that I pushed to make a friend of Justin.  Although he moved away from Somerset West, I enjoy staying in touch with  him and keenly follow him on social media. It was when I saw pictures  of him in the Okavango Delta that I realised the time has come to pin  him down for a “Meet me in the field” chat. It was my own jealousy that  made me want to speak to him. With Nature being my higher power, I  really wanted to find out if his time in nature has an effect on his  spiritual life.

 When I saw on Facebook that Imke was celebrating her one-year  milestone I grabbed the opportunity to invite her come and chat to us at  “Meet me in the field”.

 In Andea I see someone who has a very strong belief-system, but, not  unlike Andea herself, she seemed to have a unique take on religion and  how she engages with the god of her understanding. Find her on Facebook  at https://www.facebook.com/annaprince.expert/

I have never met Johan before the day of our recording, but I feel as  if I did. I have been following his work on Facebook for a while  already and always feel a sense of excitement when I see what they are  up to. Johan manages a company called Macassar Pottery. I was excited about recording  this podcast, because I know that Johan is doing excellent work in the  Macassar community and I wanted to hear more about it.

 Tanya is one of those people whom I instantly liked. She has a most  amazing energy. I was sooo happy when I realised I can contact her and  ask her to be our guest. I was even happier when she immediately agreed.  I am really looking forward to share this chat with you.
