I met Jean about 10 years ago and years later, I like him. He is  still a dentist, but through Instagram, I got to see his art and it  fascinated me thoroughly. I realised there is far more to Jean than him  being a dentist who seems to be a really nice guy.

 When I saw on Facebook that Imke was celebrating her one-year milestone I  grabbed the opportunity to invite her come and chat to us at “Meet me  in the field”. 

To move seemingly seamlessly from teacher to photographer and  environmentalist cannot be easy, but Paul’s keen eye and interest in our  impact on the planet, made this sound easy and interesting.

 I recently spent a weekend away with Massimo and was intrigued when  he collected a bunch of herbs, made a bundle of them and burnt them. It  was then when I knew I had to get him on Meet me in the field and find  out what makes him tick.

What a beautiful afternoon Elke and I spent together. We attended a  CODA (Codepent Anonymous) meeting in the morning, then had a lovely  healthy lunch, which Elke prepared and then we sat down for this chat,  watching the sea and the children playing.

 In this podcast and YouTube video, I reflect on 2018 and how it  influenced me spiritually. I realised that I obviously forgot a few  things, because that I what I do and how I roll. One of the most  significant things I forgot was the birth of Jaco and my godchild on 15  November. I am stunned at how much unconditional love I can feel in such  a short period of time. Mackenzie Vala Black is here and she is  changing my life for the better.

 A new year is a good time to reflect and plan. In this podcast and  YouTube video, Jaco (The Husband) asks me, Freddie (The Host), a few  questions about “Meet me in the field”. We reflect on the past and  briefly discuss the future.

 I have been watching Jason for a while, wanting to have him as a  guest on “Meet me in the field” and when I was ready he was first  working out of town and then he went on leave. I am chuffed to have him  on the show and hope that you enjoy his journey with me.

Paul and I connected really well and his journey is really worth  exploring with him. Thanks Paul for being with us. This is a long  episode. I tried to edit it much shorter, but did not succeed. It is  much shorter than the recording though.

 This is really exciting, because, Amanda is starting her own podcast  and we agreed to do this talk as part of me showing her a bit about how  this whole thing works. I found it interesting to hear how Amanda not  only went from the Great Karoo to Silicon Valley, but also how she  manoeuvered her way from Amanda to Mandy and back again.
