In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple Double") are back in studio talking about USC spring football 2025 kicking off on Tuesday with a special guest making a live appearance.
The guys are joined by Syracuse transfer offensive lineman J'Onre Reed who just went through his first official practice wearing Cardinal and Gold. Reed talks about what his first few months on campus have been like including the off-season workouts and spring practice No. 1, potentially taking over the starting center role for USC and getting acclimated into Lincoln Riley's offense. Known as "Big General," Reed brings a ton of talent and experience into the Trojan offensive line room, now run by former tight ends coach Zach Hanson.
The interview with Reed was conducted in conjunction with House of Victory, an alumni-backed nonprofit collective dedicated to providing a competitive edge in the NIL space for University of Southern California student-athletes.
