The question, What is Life Coaching comes up many times in my conversations. So I thought I’d make this video and share about it.
We all have aspirations, we have dreams, many goals, and expectations from relationships and life. Even though each one of us has unlimited potential, many of us fall short of achieving our dreams and goals. The challenge is, we are unaware why we are not able to achieve our dreams and goals, and what is it that we need to do differently to be able to achieve anything we want.
This is where a life coach comes into picture. Life coaching is a very structured method to help you understand your potential and achieve your goals. I’ll talk about it a bit more in detail in this video.
One important disclaimer I want to make here. Many people think Life Coaching is like Therapy. It is not. Life Coaching is not Therapy!
Therapy deals with things like mental illness, depression, past traumas, coping with abuse, treat addiction and substance abuse, among other things.
Therapy is focused on PAST and PRESENT life situations. But life coaching is PRESENT and FUTURE focused. A Life Coach might try to work with your past only to help you realize how the past is affecting your present and future. I’ll talk about these differences in detail in a separate video.
