August 05, 2020 Episode 7 - Devyn Machado
This week, we have a conversation with Devyn Machado - Executive Director of Fearless Theatre (and one of my best friends). In this interview, we discuss Devyn’s life, their journey to becoming the sole owner of Fearless, and details of important moments along the way.
I’m going to throw a big fat trigger warning on the last half of this episode.
TW: sexual assault, gaslighting and silencing, and repeated misconduct and abuse.
If it’s a healthy choice for you, I’d urge you to listen to this episode in it’s entirety. The discussion in the middle is vital and important.
I also recognize that our listenership is wonderfully diverse in life experience and want to keep the podcast healthy for all. If those themes are triggering and unhealthy for you in your experiences, this episode is safe for you up through the 49 minute mark and then again after 1:18.
Enjoy our conversation with Devyn!

July 22, 2020 Episode 5 - Cassie Medina-Yoder
Hello!
We're chatting with my friend Cassie. Cassie is a local actor in both film and theatre, and an incredible human to boot. Cassie and I discuss toxic culture in arts circles, the benefits of uprooting and moving to a new place, and her refreshingly positive outlook on the future.
This conversation is a breath of fresh air. Breathe in deep with us.

July 15, 2020 Episode 4 - Shelby Kleinhans
Today, I’m thrilled to share a conversation with one of my oldest and best friends. Shelby Kleinhans is an award winning queer lady filmmaker, currently weathering the final stages of film school post-Corona, fighting for change in the industry and in the hearts of audiences who consume filmed content.
We discuss amplifying underrepresented voices, why male filmmakers need to let the communities they are trying to portray tell their own stories, and the boogeyman: STREAMING.

July 01, 2020 Episode 2 - James Brunt
WOW, everyone. I have so much to say about our guest. James Brunt is an actor, poet, activist, and all around wonderful human. As I was recording and piecing together this interview, I was overwhelmed with gratitude. This conversation is very singular and important.
We owe James a massive thank you for his life lived with heartfelt honesty.
Thank you for giving us a glimpse into your story.
As you listen, I’d ask that you really let his words sink in. Hear him, feel it, and go do something.
