Today in worship, we ask: what does a life of sacrificial love look like? For some, it looks like a mother’s love; for others, it’s more personal. The secret: the more we love, the more we are able to love. The “greatest love” is deemed so because it grows. It grows within us and between us. Love begets more love. This is what living the Resurrection is all about.

This is the second week of our Easter worship series. This week’s message is an invitation to carefully listen…and expect to hear. God is speaking to you - not just to followers with more authority, or those who are further along the journey of faith…but to YOU. Jesus doesn’t say, “Listen and maybe I’ll have something to say.” He says, “Listen to my voice. I am speaking.” So it’s important that we take time to be still and listen.

Welcome to Midway UMC online worship! In our contemporary service, we continue the sermon series based on the book “Worship in Light of the Cross” by John Indermark. This collection of daily meditations helps us prepare our hearts for Easter. In this message, we’re reminded that it’s one thing to worship together each week and hear about God’s love and grace. But it’s another to go out into the often chaotic waters of our daily lives and live out our faith, trusting in God to carry us through the rough currents. Do you trust God enough to get your feet wet?

Welcome to Midway UMC online worship! In our contemporary service, we continue the sermon series based on the book “Worship in Light of the Cross” by John Indermark. This collection of daily meditations helps us prepare our hearts for Easter. In this message: the words we speak in unison when we worship together help us to show how we own our faith. How does “I believe” relate to “we believe”?

Welcome to Midway UMC online worship! In our contemporary service, we continue the sermon series based on the book “Worship in Light of the Cross” by John Indermark. This collection of daily meditations helps us prepare our hearts for Easter. In this message, we’ll hear that proclaiming the Gospel isn’t a job reserved only for preachers and evangelists. Proclaiming the Gospel means telling AND living the truth of what it means to follow Christ.
