  • Episode Thirty-Five: Neil Jones (Aerial Knight)

Detroit born Neil Jones created "Aerial Knight's Never Yield" because he hadn't seen it before; a 3D side-scrolling endless runner, or “narrative runner,” as Jones passionately calls it, where the player must jump, dash, slide, and race to complete each level. As a product of hip-hop culture, the game reaches an aesthetic I've not seen before. Neil gave us some time where we talk about the challenges of creating a game like this, as well as his influences as we celebrate it's success.

"Aerial Knight's Never Yield" is out now, play it now, you won't be sorry.

  • Episode Thirty-Four: 2oolman of The Halluci Nation

    You are not alone.

2oolman is a Hip-Hop Artist/Producer from Six Nations Reservation, Ontario Canada, and member of The Halluci Nation, f/k/a A Tribe Called Red. Despite us being raised in different parts of the world, we find that we have several shared experiences and weren't as different as we thought we were. Mega Ran talks to him about his journey, what he and the band have been doing since the pandemic, musical influences (that weren't hip-hop) and achieving a bucket list moment, scoring the show "Rutherford Falls," which is streaming live on PeacockTV. Along the way, we talk video games, pro-wrestling and spending time seeking knowledge from the elders.

Ran also introduces the PWR Rating, where we discuss what our guests are playing, watching and reading.

Our musical selection is "Freeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2)" by Kanye West and Kid Cudi.
