On 10/9/2016 my mother Diana Hart was brutally stabbed and left for dead in the basement of her own home while her mentally disabled daughter slept upstairs. Till this day the Darby Police Department has no leads and can only say we are waiting for someone to "Mess Up." 5yrs later and still nothing. Just another Black Woman and we already know Black Women don't matter.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Mark Lewin and on this brocast, we discuss "Pride" and the mental battles we fall into trying to be "the provider" and negating the help that our partners are extending to us.

This is a sister that from the day we met I knew that we would one day sit down and talk about the hustle and grind of a real Black Woman and breaking stigmas every day while still being a mother. Overcoming her cousin being brutally killed because someone wanted to go out and have a good time and in a blink of an eye this family forever has been changed. She takes that pain and pushes the City to enforce speed bumps so no more families would feel that type of pain. Now she has her own successful business.
